These are very strong and look to be good quality. Fit my poles perfect. Only thing is I didn't use the set screw provided, instead I drilled out 2 holes on each side and riveted it together. Using the set screw seemed like it wouldn't hold good enough.

Pin holes were slightly undersized for standard 1/4” quick release pin used on boat Bimini tops. I tried to ream them out with titanium coated drill bits but the material was so hard I broke 2 brand new bits. I ended up using a carbide tipped drill bit and that took some effort. I decided not to go with the single set screw to make rigid supports for my Bimini boat top. I used a little JB Weld Marine and a 3/16” stainless pop rivet. The I.D. did fit the 1” aluminum tubing very well. Pleased with that. Should be very durable fixed length Bimini top supports.

The picture shows a relatively flat top cap with an eye end, which is what I needed for my custom application. The delivered product is a dome top cap. It appears that all vendors deliver the dome tops.
