Rockville Atom S30 Marine Amplifier 2400w 4 Channel Amp w/Volt Meter+PA Mic

I like that this functions as expected, my installer didn't have any issues setting it up.I used all 8 channels in my 14 speaker upgrade for my Infiniti Q60. Extremely clear, and will get the most out of any speakers.

I installed this on my Pontoon Boat with 8 - 4 ohm speakers. Wow, does it sound good? I learned a lot in the process. My head unit distorts at about 75% volume. So, I replaced my very cheap head unit with an Alpine receiver, which has no distortion at 100% volume. Then I tuned the amp with a DD1, and oh my gosh, what a difference that made. People can hear me on the other side of the lake. The 3500-watt label is a little misleading. On mine, the amp is pushing about 73 RMS watts per channel at 4 ohms or 584 watts total with my 8-speaker setup. I highly recommend this amp, especially at the price.

Tried 2 of these amps, Both worked for a few minites and then went into protection mode. all speakers tested at 4 ohms and verified a clean install. Sonds good when it works but you canr have the gains ajusted more than half way or it goes into protection mode. Tried to call tech support at rockville and same answer everytime. No tech support available agents available. Emails to tecj support were not returned. So I returned this amp and purchased a Kenwood 5 channel marine amp. Do yourself a favor and pass on this product. Spend the money and get a name brand. This one does not work as described.

Good quality amp with decent power. Used it to power 6 speakers on my bike.Only issue is that when you connect it, it starts at full volume which is a bit annoying. Also, sometimes the Bluetooth connectivity drops and you will have to restart the amp.

I connected the amp using the calculations I found online To match up the correct equipment checked ohms etc. Many people just hook it up and blow speakers or the amp then blame the amp or speaker maker. so this is important. I'm not a stereo guy. So I looked it up. it will save you headaches later. Matched it up with a Kenwood deck and 4 Polk 6x9s. I've taken my boat out for the last several weeks without issue. except I thought I blew the amp even with my calcs, but it was my Battery. I was only pushing 9 volts I didn't connect my batteries correctly. I (I fixed that). so it needs 12v. was my fault. I highly recommend this amp. It tells you how many volts coming from the battery. I hooked up speakers without amp. sounded ok. I added the amp, now it's a lot more crisp and louder. Highly recommend. easy to install. I never heard of the brand but i like it.

Edit - Credit where credit is due. After receiving a unit in poor shape, a new one was out to me in two more days. Mistakes will happen and a solution was delivered very quickly. My stars for this amp will change once all is installed and tested.After much comparison shopping, reading reviews, etc, I decided to take a chance on this amp from Rockville. Unfortunately, I was unable to even hook it up and test it out because it was shipped to me in the worst condition of any item I have ever gotten online. Before opening the box, I noticed that the amp was moving freely in the pachaging. Once opened, it was obvious that the amp had been installed in someone else's vehicle as there were scuffs and small dents on multiple areas. To top it all off, there was NO hardware at all, not even a manual, I am supposed to receive a replacement in a couple days and will update this review at that time. To anyone thinking about spending any money on this company, please consider this story before doing so. Shame on you, Rockville.

I bought this amp with alot reluctancy and let me give you my straight up opinion......BUY THIS AMP!! I put a "sandbar beating" on this amp and it blew me away with the sound, quality, temperature, everything about this amp has impressed me!!!!!!! ......it pushes all eight of my jl audio speakers "... perfectly.....with more to give!!! It is worth every single cent and more......I'm so confident in this amp and it's capabilities I will personally give you my direct number to talk you into buying it.........I am telling you .....best buy for marine sound where your not going to break the bank. I'm looking on how or where else I can add more speakers to my boat just to buy another one of these amps........wow wow wow wow!

The media could not be loaded.  antes de la compra tenia mis dudas pero ya instalado créanme que se escucha fuerte a comparación del video.están conectadas 4 bocinas de torres y 1 subwoofer de 8 pulgadas todo de uso marino y quede sorprendido de su potencia, no se calienta y no deja de funcionar.estoy pensando conectar 2 bocinas mas tipo torres, esto esta instalado en tubular (buggy) y sin problema hasta el momentolo único malo que al conectarse al bluetooth esto suena a todo volumen y no hay manera de regularlo. muy contento y satisfecho con la compraSUPER RECOMENDADO......
