It came promptly and in very good order and it works amazingly, colour was great bit of a pain setting up but as is always with phones camera great clear pics bought a wallet case to protect it as its wife's

The Samsung's come with the promise of an above average level of update support from the manufacturer, and the phone that I bought was indeed very much 'as new' with no marks or prior signs of use, and charged to 48%. Mine was shipped in awesome blue, and I have to say that the colour is very pleasing on the eye, although it is now encased in a protective cover.Although professional reviewers have quibbled about the speed of its processor, and this may indeed be an issue to gamers, it is perfectly quick enough for my use. It is responsive, and the onboard camera and lenses supplied have exceeded my expectations at this pricepoint. Pictures have been sharp and colours accurate, with scope for post-processing if so minded. I still love my Olympus O-MD EM1 Mk 1 for my photography, but this camera phone looks like it will provide a very capable backup option, which hasnt been the case with the (admittedly more budget) phones that I have used in the past (The Honor 7C being my most recent.The internal storage capacity of 128GB is more than adequate for normal users I would suggest, but I have added 256 GB extra as a contingency and to save filling the internalphone card, as I do not require the dual sim facility that this phone offers.I used Samsung Switch to migrate the settings from my Honor phone to the Samsung. If you are doing this, then be advised - don't download the app from Google Play to the old phone, but instead use the QR code option provided during setup. It will save a load of frustration and a small world of pain! (I ended up resetting my new phone to factory default and going through the process twice as the phones were refusing to link using the wireless option and the wired option when using the app downloaded from the Play store. Once reset, and the QR code transferred, the wireless option of transfer was absolutely stress free and seamless).Still getting used to the Samsung settings and UI - it has been many years since I last got a Samsung - but first impressions are highly favourable. Although it has a predominantly plastic body, it does seem robust and claims to have very good dust and rain resistance. It is quite weighty in the palm, but in a reassuring and not overly heavy way, and is fitted with Gorilla glass.All in all I am well chuffed! Are there better phones out there? Certainly. Are there phones with better camera capabilities? Again, certainly. Would I feel happy to spend significantly more money to achieve those benefits? Certainly not, given that this phone is not my primary camera.The screen gives excellently defined graphics at a smooth refresh rate (120Hz), making it a noticeable step up from my 90 Hz Honor screen, and the sound from the onboard speaker is decent showing a good dynamic range, to my ears at least.It is reportedly possible to connect wired headhones via the multipurpose usb-c slot, but I will be using bluetooth headhones anyway.As a phone, the A53 may have been superseded by the A54 in some respects, but it still stands proud as a mid-priced phone with some premium (near flagship) features.

My A53 arrived on time and was well packaged. I immediately took it down to Vodafone who kindly transferred my date and sim from my old Samsung to my new one.Back at home I charged my new phone in no time and then it was ready to use. I love the colour, size and style and especially the great camera features that I’m learning to use.Definitely worth the money buying a new phone and then just having a sim only package with Vodafone as I’ve managed to keep a low monthly tariff whilst now owning an awesome mobile phone

Bought this mobile to replace my old LG 6 looked around for a mid range 5g mobile and settled on this more than happy with battery life and it takes awesome pictures. I wanted it in the blue colour which meant a clear cover helped show it off. The supplier Airytech was very helpful and kept me updated throughout the process. No issues at all, happy to use Amazon for any purchases as its real easy and delivery times are awesome.

I find the Samsung A53 to be a great phone. It has all that I require and more. I'm not into tech and I upgraded to this phone from a Samsung S5. I've only had the phone a few weeks but I find all elements of the phone including camera, storage and screen are excellent.

The phone itself is great and as expected for a samsung A53. The problem is the advert does not make it clear that this is not a European phone. Again this wouldn't cause any issue whilst it is working however I have cracked the screen and want to get it repaired by an authorised Samsung repairer (bad experience in the past of smaller repairers) and Samsung will only repair European manufactured phones. When I approached the seller to find out where the phone was sourced they did not provide an answer but became quite defensive in their response even though I was simply asking which country it has been sourced from so I can get it fixed.Update: following another conversation with samung repair they have advised this is not made for UK market and should not have been sold in the uk without that being made clear. I'd appreciate it if the seller could get in touch with me to help me to resolve this as they have not replied to messages. Samsjng repairs can not order the parts to repair it without having my phone but they have to order the part from Vietnam which they said would take 5 to 6 weeks to arrive meaning I would be without a phone for that long. Do not buy! I never knew this as an issue until now and the seller should make this clear.Update 19th October : the seller has still not been in contact to resolve this, nor have Amazon been in touch despite me trying to get help from them.

My new phone arrived a few days ago.. its just what I hoped for.. its so easy to navigate the features are on this phone are brilliant.. no more fumbling around looking for loyalty cards.. got them all in a wallet.. I know that feature has been around a while but I'm in my 60s and it's took from me being in my late 50s to get with it. The screen size it great the sound quality is perfect it also has a noise cancelling which is amazing..
