This book was ok I thought it was going to be more step by step instructions which it wasn't. With that being said it had a lot of good information in it.

This is written for any breed although it specifies malamutes...I would have liked it to be more malamute specific.

bo0ok is weldl written and full of information but the problem that we have is not discussed.

VERY disappointed with the cookie cutter approach (very similar to his other books with the dog breed name changed). The beginning few pages is very specific to the breed which is nice, but the rest of the book is NOT breed friendly. This is a book about Malamutes but there is no chapter on teach your dog to pull or carry a pack. These dogs NEED a job whether you live in the country or city and they can pull a cart on a sunny day just as easily as a sled in the snow. They have a strong prey drive and would have been nice for that to be used in terms of training as well.

Christmas gift for my granddaughter but I'm told that it's very good and that it contains a lot of great tips. I looked at other books on training Alaskan Malamutes but went on feedback and very glad I did!!

A good book.

not so much a training guide for Malamutes as a training guide with information about malamutes. not really what I expected.
