These are great, they are easy to install and not overly sensitive like my old detectors were. When I am cooking, and steam fills the room, these things seem to know that there is NOT a fire, and they stay quiet. When I am BBQing and the door is open, the stupid detector does not sing me "the song of its people", it sits there and says, "that isn't fire, that is BBQ smoke and I wish they would invite me, but I am not going to make any noise about it."

Simple Easy to Install ...I only wish the diameter of the unit was uniform with the previous units ~ 5-1/8" and not 4"

Works good. Like how they are magnetic and the two sided tape is a plus.

Replacement for 30 year old smoke detectors. Compact size. Easy to install. Recommended.

The install is extremely easy and they stick on extremely well. They have gone off when they needed to (fire on stovetop). The magnetic detachment is awesome. Well worth the money.

These seem like good smoke detectors. I don’t know what we’re talking about an internal battery or a battery back up. Mine only has a 9 V battery. It does not work unless the 9 V battery is connected. Hopefully they last 10 years or close to it because I have very high vaulted ceilings and it’s a big pain putting them up.

Works as advertised

Thought I was buying a great smoke alarm but just the second night smoke alarm went off at 12 am scaring us all. No one was cooking so why did it go off. Hoping it’s just the cheap batteries and not the smoke alarm itself
