If followed the proper routine, gives best results. If used continuously from beginning, may make skins dry and flaking may arise as in my mother's case.

It's consistency is that of a light oil which does get absorbs eventually. Best thing is it has rose hip oil and squalene which compensates for the drying effect of retinol. I have been using retinol for a few years now and wanted to increase the strength for my skin. It worked just fine for me, no after effects, no drying or purging in the skin at all even after using three/four days in a row. The quantity will last you for months and they have packaged it in a dark bottle which is good. I usually keep it in the fridge to prevent oxidation and apply it at night. Long term effects on skin can only be seen after months of usage. I liked the product.

It's worth buying.

It's very very oily and not suitable for oily skin. I don't think it works as I am using it from past 30 days.

No burning sensation and was very effective, paired it with good moisturiser in night routine. Value for money and just finished 1/4 of the bottle. Progressing well
