I purchased this hat for horseback riding out on the trails. We’ve been having a wet summer here in Vermont USA and I like that this is water resistant in case I get caught out in a rain. I haven’t yet worn it outside but the quality of the hat seems high, with good materials (feels like it has substance to it). I also love the color and the detail on the band (pictures of horses and a metal bit design). It’s subtle but noticeable. Hat fits me perfectly (I have a small-ish head) - it’s snug so when I bushwhack through the woods it won’t easily come off. I wish they made a Western hat because I’d likely get that too!

I have 2 of these and have had them for years. They are great for Washington State rainy weather. I bought a friend one years ago that she wears almost daily in cooler weather. This will be a gift so she has an upgrade or spare.

I bought this cap for a friend after telling her how great it is. I own four. I wear mine when snowblowing my sidewalk and driveway. Riding on cold days my head stays warm and I can wear earmuffs over my hat if needed. I love these hats and now so does my friend.

This is the second hat I have bought from this company. First one arrived with a broken brim, thought it was from how it was packaged. Second one arrived intact but the clasp holding the hat together broke after one wearing. Lucky I had two paper clips. The paper clips held my hat together and were better quality than the clasp

I've been really looking forward to getting this and it was a "splurge" item for me, but when opening the box the leather strap was folded and crooked (I'm going to have to try molding it into the right place) and the label on the inside lining is dangling by a thread because the sewing machine missed the fabric. The only reason I'm not returning it is because it's not worth the carbon footprint for the chance of getting another one with faults. I love the look and design, but overall bummed out on the quality and care. This should've been in mint condition.

This hat is excellent and it’s the second one I’ve ordered.
