Fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys coloring, sketching, or detailed artwork; especially beginners like me. They perform beautifully for layering and shading, making them perfect for my Bible illustrations. If you're looking for a high-quality yet affordable set, I highly recommend them!

First off, I love that this set comes in a pre-organized binder, with each color numbered, and a test sheet to allow for each color to be displayed by its number, which makes for easy color selection while using them. I was pleasantly surprised that this also came with a small sketch book, as well as another with tan and black paper. I tested some of the lighter colors on those pages and they show up beautifully!The colors are vibrant and smooth, and blend wonderfully with a blending pencil or burnisher. I think the only downside is just that they do get used up fairly quickly, if you're using one color for a large area, but I think that's just a part of using soft core pencils. I'm so glad I got these!

I ordered this set on Amazon because if seemed like a decent product and price. I've done several intensive drawings so far and really like the quality of the pencils. I'm blending without problems, etc. Since some of my drawings are kind of large, I'm burning through some colors and want to replace them, without purchasing a whole new set, but haven't been able to find info on that, so I contacted the company directly. I'd buy this set again. I love that the pencils are organized by color/number, so keeping track of what I'm doing is easier.

Silky smooth coloring! Case seems sturdy. I’ve used it a couple times and all but one pencil have been intact. The blues, grays, browns have tons of shades but minimal options for orange. Would also like to have had more than one black pencil, which also happened to be the one missing the ‘lead’/color (looked like it had broken down in the shaft and fallen out). Sharpeners seem a bit flimsy but we’ll see. Overall a decent set for the price.

Best color investment and so easy to use. I have given these sets a gifts to 3 people that have been interested in dabbling with water colors. They give a sense of control for beginners wanting to to learn how to blend and also an expanded ability to put detail for regular water colors creation. The wide variety of of colors is such a gift. Highly recommend

I own many coloring books. Over 110 of them. I also own many coloring pencils. Probably close to 1,000.It works fine when I'm at home coloring, but I'm retired now, and sometimes I like to go to the local coffee shop, or Panera's etc and watch people while I color.These pencils are beautiful. They have more than acceptable levels of paper saturation. They have several different shades of each color to choose from.And perhaps most importantly, because all of my other colored pencils are sitting in big plastic containers just loose, these zip into an organized case that I can toss into my tote bag and bring with me wherever I want.They also stay very organized in this case whereas my loose ones are all different colors mixed up, all different brands mixed up, etc .These are color coordinated and then further organized by shades of each color, I simply pull out the one I want to use and put it back in its little loop holder before selecting the next one.The zipper works really well. I've had other pencil holders where the zipper was flimsy or it stuck very easily. This zipper I believe is going to last a very long time, because it easily opens and closes.Another good feature is that you can flip through the various colored pencils like you would pages of a book. That makes it very easy to look at the colors, select the one I want, and set the rest aside in the case until I need the next color.I like this much better than the roll up pencil holders. I've tried several of those and inevitably the pencils can fall through and come out of the roll up. With this case they're zipped in, they're not going anywhere.I definitely recommend this product to anybody, but especially for somebody who would like to bring colored pencils with them while they go to a coffee shop, travel on an airplane, or in a car for a trip or at a hotel on vacation.
