This cushion might seem expensive. It's more than twice as much as some others. After buying several of them, it would have been cheaper to start with this one. It's THICK. It actually cushions (what a concept). It's about as weather proof as you can make it, with high quality materials and construction. The cheaper ones have so little cushioning, it's not worth the bother. I even doubled-up with 2 thinner cushions, and this one is MUCH thicker and better.It's basically the difference between high density foam, and low density foam. Both can be puffy, but one has a lot more air than the other, which does practically nothing to comfort your backside. This cushion will not transform an uncomfortable chair into a comfortable chair if it's bad to begin with, but it will sure help. If your love seat is decently designed, this will be a solid improvement in comfort and maintenance!

I purchased two of these and will now post a mixed review. Cushion foam number 1 has two square corners and two round corners. This matches the cushion cover. Looks as expected. Cushion foam number 2 has four square corners. It is possible to force the foam into the cover but it looks like the square peg round hole story. So, foam and cover number 1 gets a 5 rating on arrival. Foam and cushion number 2 gets a 1 rating on arrival. Once the foam is removed from the vaccum seal, it will take a large flat box to return it. Not worth the effort. Life is a gamble. You have a 50/50 chance of getting a good product. If appearance is not important, buy this product.

I bought this cushion based on the high reviews regarding it on this site. Unfortunately, it is only in the 4-star comments did I just now discover the true issues of this cushion. Of course, after I purchase it and wonder why no one else mentioned the lack of cushion with this rectangular foam. For me the comfort of the foam would make it a 2 star or less, but those only complained about lack of cushion covers.My wicker seat's cushion was long overdue for replacing and finding one in stores was becoming impossible, so I turned to Amazon for help.For me, a cushion that is compressed in plastic, where you open it and it expands to size, I expected a nice memory-foam style cushion. Similar to what you get when you purchase one of those expandable beds which usually end up feeling pretty awesome. Don't expect that with this. It was hard and not at all comfortable. I now know when a review says that the foam is "dense" what they are actually saying is that the cushion is hard with no give.Then let's address the cover, which I did receive. You will be struggling to jam the cushion into the cover, especially if you wait awhile to use it. My husband, who put it together for me, said it nearly didn't work but by brute-man force, he was able to get it zipped up. As for the quality of the cover, it is nice that it is included with the dense foam, but I don't see how it is really water resistance. Perhaps if you spilt a drop of two of water on it, it would repeal it. But don't think that you are going to be able to sit it outside and have your foam protected. On the plus side, I would say that it has a higher quality of construction that I expected.Returning this will be fun. Trying to put a compressed foam into a box where it originally fit is close to impossible. Fortunately, I will be able to return to Kohl's and they will get to figure out how to put the uncompressed foam into the box. Just as long as I get my money back, I will be happy.I paid $68 for this and did not feel that it was worth the price. Maybe half that and I would not have attempted to return it.Merely my opinion, other's will love it (as noted by the current 5+ star reviews).

Very hard to find 40” cushion for outdoor glider. So I’m keeping this, with some disappointments. You should read all the reviews and note comments re shape (two rounded corners), “outdoor” limitations (soaks water like a sponge - package insert instructs “cushion is NOT WATERPROOF. To avoid possible moisture and/or mildew of contents do not store the cushion outside”). Super easy to insert cushion to cover if you follow instructions. Wrinkles in the cushion are felt through the cover.Materials and construction are 5 stars. If you need an outdoor cushion that you don’t plan to use out of doors, buy this without reservation.Update: two 20-inch square cushions perfectly fill my bench, but this “41-inch” pad doesn’t fill the same width. One more con.

Ordered this cushion for a loveseat we use indoors in a dining room. So happy I did. It comes with a extremely high quality memory foam cushion that is packaged just like our memory foam mattresses did (rolled up and compressed) and an outer covering that has to be put on. Very high quality for the price. Highly recommended. I'm going to order a chair cushion next.

After squirrels chewed through the original cushion on a simple swing I bought years ago from Walmart, I had a hard time finding a replacement in the right size (41-42"long). When I did a search on Amazon it only came up with ~45" L cushions. So I decided to check and see on this version and found there were sized options. Perfect! The gray cushion matches the original sun bleached backing on the swing. It's comfortable and made of high quality fabric that will not be so tempting to the squirrels.

This item may seem a little pricey but it is worth every cent. I've had the little bench for many years and have fooled around with various cushions and even made one (big mistake). I saw this online and read the good reviews. It fits perfectly and is very well made. I did notice that there were ties shown on the product description but there were none on my cushion--I wouldn't have used them anyway.

it was excellent quality (well made) but it was very hard to sit on and not comfortable at all. I should of got the 2" instead of the 3" thickness maybe. I cancelled the matching chair cushions I had ordered.

Too expensive and it’s hard as a rock! Colour is very nice shade for grey. Would not recommend.
