Wish it was a little longer
I use this to hold a small cooler on the back of my kayak. It works. I wish the straps were a little bit longer, but I make due. The mechanism can be tricky doing One handed, but it’s not designed for that, so it isn’t the products fault.

I Have Other Plans For This Battery Tie-Down Strap
You know, being a Jack of All Trades and Master of Some of Them, and, adding into that the fact that, well, the fact that we're all just human beings, and being human beings, we're fairly clever. That is, we figure things out (or, we don't, depending on just exactly how intelligent we are ... you know, common sense and all that rot, aye?) and, in doing so, we're able to apply that old saying "Necessity is the mother of invention."You've heard that term before, right? Well, this may be a "Battery Tie-Down Strap" according to the manufacturer and to anyone else who purchases it for that purpose, but, I didn't get it for tying down my batteries. I got it for locking (not locking like with a padlock) but for using it as a sort of fulcrum locking device for my home-made, folding, transportable computer workstation. The workstation already has two different ways to actually lock it with a couple of padlocks, but I thought it'd be a good idea to also add this strap which attaches to those two locking bars you see in the photo, and then I can pull the strap from one side of my PC workstation to the other side just as extra security for when it's being moved from place to place. Not to keep ne'er-do-wells out, because the padlocks are for doing that job.Maybe later, when I get the strap installed, and I have to move my computer workstation to one of my comicon gigs or to the New York City Toy Fair, I'll take some pictures and post them here for you.

Works great
Works great. Had to secure a gas tank on a boat build. Just what I needed!
