Vintage Reproduction Collapsible Rolling Metal Laundry Basket

So, I'm gettin' old, gotta make some changes in the way I do everyday chores. This basket not only lets you roll laundry around, you no longer have to carry anything, just push or pull this lightweight basket. Sets up in 2 minutes, rolls easily, looks kinda cool (it's unique). A little pricey but looks like it'll last forever. I figured the cloth ones would get dirty, there's an extra chore I don't need. It's a good height, not much bending involved ( I'm 5'3"). Anyway, so glad I have it, I'm sure I'll discover more uses for it. It folds almost flat for storage, but I use it so much I leave it standing. LOVE IT !!

I love the basket so much. It looks great. I have back and elbow trouble, and I wanted something thatwould keep me from having to bend so much when doing laundry. It rolls well and requires almost no assembly. The support ring around the middle of the basket was a little tricky to figure out, but other than that, it's as expected.

It isn't real sturdy, but sturdy enough to hold clothes and looks great in my rustic laundry room, and holds quite a few dirty clothes easily. I just roll it to the washer, and sort which color I am washing, and throw them right into the washing machine, then roll it back. It has been quite a conversation piece when I show people my new laundry room! Love it!

Bought an exact laundry basket from Pottery Barn, only difference it had a liner. Paid $149 for it, then they rack on their ridiculously high shipping on an item that does not weigh much & folds to make it a small package. Anyways ended up paying around $170 through Pottery Barn & $98.99 through Amazon with next day delivery (I have Amazon Prime). Very pleased, use the one from Pottery Barn with a liner for my clean clothes & the one from Amazon without a liner for dirty clothes. It is a nice way of storing the dirty clothes until they are done. Plus they look vintage, they have some that look like this also on ebay. They are true vintage though.

Had to return due to one damaged piece but it is nice and large and rolls around easily. This is great if you have lots of laundry and has a cool vintage look. I recommend even though one little piece was broken. I had to return for that reason.

This was really pricey for what I'm usually willing to spend, but the cheapest option for a strong, collapsible laundry basket. So I gave it a chance.The directions are well written and include photos for every step. It seems a little wobbly while putting up but gravity makes sure it all stays in place. The gaps in the wire are big enough for small things like socks to fall through, though it rarely happens. I'll probably just make a liner for it that will also fold up nice and tidy. It takes up so much less space when flat and is easier to store than traditional, plastic laundry baskets. It brings my clean laundry up off the floor away from the pets and within comfortable reach.I love this darn thing, it was worth the price. My only complaint is that it is painted to look aged, the little rust looking spots freaked me out at first, then on closer inspection one of them flaked off to reveal clean metal underneath. I think it would have been better to give it a white or black coating.

I like the look of this basket and the wheels. I had to use zip ties to keep the ring that holds the basket in an upright position because the ring that’s supplied wouldn’t fit correctly. Or work correctly. It’s was pretty expensive to have needed to do that.

On rollers so it is very handy!!!
