Ever hopeful, I buy jute rugs, well, because they are inexpensive and replaceable; however, my disappointment usually exceeds my satisfaction, and out they go. The rugs can smell and shed and splinter and curl at the edges. This rug I bought on a whim to put under an office desk chair that was rolling out of control on our wood floors. I even surprised myself by buying a color so uncharacteristic--it's a shade of rust with a hint of peach in a house of neutrals, but it's under a vintage mid-century modern desk and table. Surprisingly, the color warms the room; it complements an oriental rug nearby, and mostly does not call attention to itself. Best of all, it's soft. It's very hard for me to believe there isn't some cotton in it because of the way it lies and rolls up as well as being soft underfoot. After buying it, I was hoping to exchange it for a larger size but no luck. In fact, many of the sizes and colors are sold out. My only qualm is actually the very very low price which must leave so little for whoever made this "handmade" rug.

I feel it is worth the price aesthetically. I’m not for sure about the quality, it appears to be made well, time will tell.However, it has an overwhelming mildew smell- like wet earth/dirt in basement of an old house. My boyfriend walked into the house and immediately mentioned it. We are both pretty overwhelmed by the odor. I am aware that jute rugs are prone to smelling earthy but this is pungent. Hoping it goes away in a few days.I will try to update my review in a week or so if the odor subsides. 🤞

Very happy with this natural fiber rug. Looks very expensive, and feels great. Note that edge is about 3/8", but carpet is more like 1/4", so only the edge is thick. Lies flat easily and doesn't slide on my vinyl plank floor.

Beautiful soft rug. No shedding or smell. Lays flat. Love the natural texture.

I love the rug it is not super hard like jute but it is a very nice blend so it softens it!! The price is very affordable! I think it will hold up well looks good on my dark wood floors!

After buying and returning a couple different runner rugs for the kitchen, I’ve finally landed on this one and am very happy with the purchase. Other jute rugs I found were very harsh on the feet and created dust everywhere, but this one is a bit softer with the cotton woven in with the jute. It’s also very high quality, especially for the price. Highly recommend to use as a runner rug.

Never wrote a review in my life but I had to warn people!! 1st the Rug took forever to get to me kept get new 'expected delivery' updates, finally get it, hummed and hawed about whether to keep it cause it took so long. Last week decided to keep it and put it out. Husband kept saying he smelt mold, I didnt notice it as much, kept putting our faces up to the rug taking giant whiffs to assess the smell... I want to be SICK. Then I noticed a maggot looking thing crawling across my hard wood, I had a feeling, went searching for a source, lifted the rug and.... well see the pictures. Im sooooo disgusted, I can't get comfortable in my own home now, I feel like there are bugs crawling everywhere.... oh and I'm out over a $100 + whatever it cost me to sanitize my home.
