Whitop Brand Sonic Electric Toothbrush - good value, works like a gem
Perfectly packaged in a gift box, as shown in the seller's pictures, this is a particularly nice electric toothbrush. It has four different modes the user can select - a general cleaning mode, a whitening mode designed to help remove stubborn stains and plaque, sensitive for those with sensitive teeth and gums, and a general gum care mode for concentrating on the gums themselves (which is important because oral hygiene should focus more on the gums where problems tend to begin).Charging was simple, although there was almost a full charge in the brush so I could use it straight from the box. It takes 12 hours for a full charge and that is said to last 100 days under normal brushing circumstances. Obviously, this will be based on an average of 2 brushes of 2 minutes each per day, so if you brush your teeth more often or for longer (as I do), the brush will need charging in less than 100 days (but that is over 3 months anyway between charges!).Compared with my name brand brush, this works perfectly. It is not noisy in operation, it does the same job but has the added advantages of the different brush modes on the handle, plus I love the idea of 100 days approximately between charges because my own brush needs to be charged up ever 5 or 6 days, and it takes 12 hours. So, even in terms of energy saving, this Whitop brush comes out tops.Although I have bought name brand electric toothbrushes (plus their accompanying brush heads) for decades now, I have been convinced that there is no need at all. This brush is perfect for all of my needs, and more, and it is far superior to the name brand I use.Priced at £61.30 at the time of this review I find the price to be very acceptable. It is higher than most other models in the "budget" range but this toothbrush does more than them. I can certainly recommend this model.

Sonic toothbrush
So the description states this is a:-WHITOP CD-09 Sonic electric toothbrush for adults rechargeable 4 modes wireless charging. Ultrasonic electric toothbrush with pressure sensor, smart timer, once charged work for 100 days. This toothbrush comes in a nicely decorated box so would be good to be given as a gift. It's also nice to see an electric toothbrush that is the standard shape head, whereas most these days are the small round head type.*** 4 different brushing modes:- * Clean * Whitening * Sensitive * Gum care*** A smart 2-minute timer,*** A 30-second zone change reminder,*** A pressure sensor.*** When starting, it takes 3's from weak to strong to prevent toothpaste from splashing / flying around the bathroom.Surprisingly it does say it takes 12 hours to fully charge the toothbrush but suppose to last 100 days off one full charge. I can't confirm this as yes as its still going off the first charge.*** One big thing to consider is the price of the replacement heads. I've looked them up and added the link below to show that a set of 4 replacement heads would cost £23.40, which works out to be £5.85 each. *** Link to brush heads:- * https://amzn.eu/d/6nTnxdLAt the time of this review the price was £61.30 which is pretty high really, compared to a lot of well known brands out there. So far so goodBut I will update this review if needed.*** Details:- * Brand:- WHITOP * Age range:- Adult * Power source:- Rechargeable * Operation mode:- Automatic * Number of settings:- 4*** What's in the box:- * 1 x Smart electric toothbrush handle * 1 x Wireless charging base * 2 x DuPont brush heads * 1 x Instruction manual

Seems rather a lot of money, for a band I have never heard of!?
I have been using an electric toothbrush for years now, and find manual brushing much less effective. I have used Braun and Oral B, and have spent a LOT of money being tempted into all kinds of SUPERSONIC technology not really knowing if it actually makes any difference to the clean.I was surprised to see this WHITOP Sonic Tooth Brush priced at over £60, as this is very much a Mid to High price point, and was intrigued to use it to see if it's worth the money. It is a decent brush, and has a VERY good battery inside, having used it for nearly a month, I have not had to charge it again yet. I am however a bit confused still at the price, it has a few different cleaning programs, but then almost all but the most basic brushes do, and as this is a brand I have never heard of before, I would expect to see this priced between £30 and £40 at the most.

Really impressed with the quality and performance
There is always a small amount of skepticism when using a unbranded product for the first time but happy to say this toothbrush is pretty good.Apparently the battery on toothbrush will last for up to 100 days which is way more than my Sonicare so it will be interesting to see if this claim is true.It is really well packaged (see pictures) and comes in two colours (we got the Purple one). Inside the packaging there are three small boxes, one for the charger, which is USB and the other two are for the 2 brush heads. The brush heads themselves are soft and medium. The soft one is a little too soft for me but the medium is just about right. There are 4 brushing modes with this, Sensitive, Clean, Whitening and Gum care and each one vibrates in a different way. Just like the branded ones, this has a 2 minute smart timer and after each 30 seconds has passed, there is a small vibration to remind you to change to a different quadrant of the mouth.Another handy little thing is that it takes 3 seconds to speed up to prevent toothpaste going everywhere and it lets you know if you are brushing too hard.I believe this will fit Sonicare toothbrush heads so any replacements will be easy to source but would have been good to come with a few more heads.Overall a solid product for the price, would also make a great gift.
