Get what you pay for
These are going to be used in my range bag. They are probably adequate for the intended purpose. I would be nervous on the security of the windlass. The windlass is poly carbonate and how it attaches is flimsy. I will get a couple of CAT tourniquets for carrying on duty.

Excellent quality, easy to use.
I bought these tourniquets after my sister-in-law who’s a paramedic advised us to keep them on hand. I have a rural property that is more than 15 minutes from EMS. After hearing countless stories of farm accidents where folks didn’t survive because emergency services couldn’t reach them and people weren’t prepared, for an emergency, I’m not taking any chances. We “tried” these out just to get familiar with how to use them god forbid we ever need to. The tourniquets are very simple to use, easy to tighten, and hold well once tightened. If you live in a place where paramedic/emt services are far from you, these could potentially be a life/limb saving tool in your first-aid kits. Hopefully we never find out how well they work in a real-life scenario, but if we do, we’re prepared!

Tourniquet ok but windlass may be weak point
Bought this set of two just to have extras on hand. I read through the directions just n case there was something new or different with this particular tournoquet and obviously the person writing these directions did not speak English as their first language. My only compliant is that the windlass is made of plastic and may not stand up to beng torqued down by applying pressure to the ends of the windlass rather than gripping the windlass with the strap splitting the middle and ring finger like one would gasp a hay hook. The directions should have related that you should open the tourniquet up and pre adjust the buckle to near it's extreme limit so that if needed for applying the tourniquet to yourself, it is set up to apply with the use of only one hand.

Excellent life saving tool
Very easy to use, durable. Bought these to have in our hiking sack and in our cars, as we travel a lot and have seen several bad road accidents.

Hope I never need to use this.
I bought two trauma kits. Made them up with a pair of tourniquets, to be stored in different locations. Although there is no TIME spot, it don't think it's critical to write the time on it. Some of these are expensive. I probably would not need to use it, but we never know what the future holds. Better safe than sorry.

Good quality for the price
I'm sure most of you reading this have a history in the military or emergency services, so I'l cut to the chase. These closely resemble the tourniquets I was issued in the military. Decent quality for the price. Still the pesky plastic windlasses that cross your mind every time you feel them bend with each crank, but hey, still have never broke one. I use these in my first aid kit for my bug out bag, and honestly I have faith in them. There are included instructions written in shitty English, so keep that in mind if you feel that is pertinent information.

Great Value on an Important First-Aid Item
Bought these to add to the first-aid kits in our cars.Would recommend that you also add a Sharpie or similar market to your first-aid kit along with the tourniquet so that if, heaven-forbid, you ever need to use it, you can write the time that the tourniquet gets applied on the injured person. At this price, everyone should have one in their car and in their home

Standard tourniquet
Thankfully I have not had to use this tourniquet in an actual medical emergency, but its design and construction are the same as those I have been trained to use. As far as I can tell it is the same design and materials as would be found in any standard EMS kit. I am confident that it will function properly should the need arise, although I hope I never have to use it! I like that they are in individual plastic bags for storage without the risk of any debris getting into the hook and loop strips.
