Perfect for keeping your protein shakes cold. It'll keep it cold for 4-6 hours depending on your environment. That's plenty enough time for me to finish the drink. The lid has a rubber o-ring you can remove to clean it's nooks & crannies. The lid is plastic & the body is metal.

This is hands down the greatest bottle ever made for making smoothies and shakes. And it is also fully insulated. You cannot miss with this.

When making the protein shake in the morning, it is easy to take the top off and put the powder in. When you actually drink from it, it is very nice that the strap that secures the lid can be flipped out of the way so that it is easier to use.

I've been using these as my primary drinking vessel daily for years. I tend to get 12-18 months out of each before the inevitable falls ding and damage them to the point of wanting a new one. They keep drinks ice cold for quite a while. I can leave them in the car in Florida in the summer and come out of a store an hour or two later, and they're still cold. Why the lost star? Well, they do NOT sell replacement gaskets, which tend to get a bit funky eventually, even if you clean them all the time, and they wind up compressing over time to where they will dribble. Not sure if it's a quality issue or a change in design, but this black one is quite rough, finish-wise; the rest were more like the feeling of eggshell, this is rough like maybe the powdercoat didn't cook down right or something.

I've had this bottle for more than a year now and I'm getting a second one. I'm the kind of person who enjoys finding the best product and this is quite possible it as far as sport drink shakers are concerned.Things I liked:- The bottle and lid are well designed - you can flap the lid back so that it doesn't drip on you when you're drinking- It's easy to carry thanks to the carry loop attached to the lid- It's easy to hold in one hand- The vacuum insulation means that cold drinks will take much longer to start developing bacteria in it. If you've ever forgotten to clean your shaker, you know what I mean.- It has notches inside for measuring the amount of liquid you pour inThings I didn't like:- The blender ball is very loud in this steel bottle, so I took that out immediately. However, I didn't really notice a big difference without it

Had to change my review to a 3star to a 5star, because I didn't have the top screwed tight enough. When you tighten it right it doesn't leak when shaken.

I used to use my ninja bullet (I know ancient) bottle for my protein shakes as I carry my food in a book bag for the day. Anyone whose ever used it knows that if you don’t wash it immediately the smell it putrid. I got tired of using the ninja bullet bottle as I no longer knew where the other caps were and had to use the bladed piece as the cap which is hard to clean under the blades.I knew I couldn’t use a regular bottle because I’d run the risk of the bottle popping open and spilling everywhere in my bag so I needed something I could twist close. I came across this and it’s GREAT. I like the fact that it’s metal inside so it doesn’t have that putrid protein smell at the end of the day and the ball helps with dissolving of the powder. I like that there’s a removable clip in case you may or may not need it. And the spout part doesn’t just snap close it twists so no fear of leakage. Overall 10/10
