For the price I was concerned it might be less attractive in person, and possibly fragile. I was pleasantly surprised that it is decent quality. I keep it outside, however it is under a protective (covered) area, because I suspect without applying a heavy duty mariner varnish, it won't hold up outside in inclement weather.It's attractive near my back door entrance (I'm not using the cushion in the winter), and the width is perfect for this smaller space. Assembly wasn't too bad, although the directions were sketchy. Two sets of directions were included - one with the hardware pack and one in the larger box. They did not match so it was a guess as to which one to follow. I'm very handy and figured it out, but someone who isn't good at assembly will likely be frustrated. That said however, it is well worth the price paid.

The benches arrived quickly and in good shape. They are the exact shape, size, and color I need. They were very easy to assemble and seem ro be amazingly sturdy. I will be using a varnish on them to help them resist weather damage. Are they "fine" furniture? No, but at the price, I was pleasantly surprised!

It looks nice and seems really sturdy. The screw and slide nut connectors were a little tricky until I got used to them. I'm an old grease monkey so it didn't take me long to figure it out. Actually, they included a little plastic tool to help with that but I didn't realize what it was for until after I finished assembling it. Instructions are a little different but functional. It says assembly time is 30 minutes, it took me about an hour and a half. As I was moving it into it's permanent position, a tenon and mortise connection came apart, maybe it wasn't glued properly. I put some glue on it and it should be fine. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

This bench was easy to assemble and quite sturdy. The wood had a teak color stain which gave off a great amount of odor for several days. Thankfully, I got it for my garage otherwise it would have been hard to deal with inside the home. The one disappointment was that the wood wasn’t better sanded and smoothed since there were several rough edges and areas. I sanded them without removing the stain and then applied two coats of wood wax to improve the finish. Otherwise, it’s a great bench for the price.

I needed a bench for a backyard firepit area but didn’t want to spend a huge amount. This bench impressed me with its quality, easy assembly, and attractiveness. I highly recommend it!

Update: I ordered three more of these - even with the problem I had with the first bench arriving broken since they are easy to assemble and the perfect size.All of them arrived damaged!!!!!!Its too bad, because this would be a 5-star review if virtually every item I have received has required me to hire a handyman to fix them.Customer service finally did contact me and said they couldn't do anything except return the entire item. They couldn't reimburse the cost of repair - but would pay to ship three very heavy benches back to them!I still love the bench, but this company has serious quality control issues if all benches are damaged in shipping. I'm surprised Amazon allows them to continue.... but then again, I love the bench in spite of everything.----------------------------------Original Review.The bench arrived with great packing. An outer Amazon box and then the original Furinno box - so it was not damaged in shipping.The bench had two cross-supports loose in the box. You can see in the photos, that they seem to have been glues at some point and it looks like they were forced from their original position by some tool that left a mark.Email to support@furinno.com link from their website has gone unanswered. I've checked junk mail every day to see if it ended up there, but nothing!I'll keep the bench since it is just what I need - and will pay my handyman to repair the bench.But there is no excuse for sending damaged furniture that someone had to know was damaged since they threw the two loose parts into the box.Too bad, since the bench is great and easy to assemble.Just be aware that quality control and customer service don't seem to be important to this company.

Easy to assemble and looks great. Had to replace bench had for years and this was perfect. Comfortable and sturdy!

There's two braces under the seating area. One of them was laying loose in the box. They glued it on, but didn't nail it. The glue failed. A bit more care needs to be taken in design.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this bench, especially considering the affordable price point. Assembly was a breeze – the bench came together smoothly without any hassle. A word of advice to future buyers: don’t fully tighten the bolts until all parts are in place. This little trick will save you some time and effort.The bench includes a small black tool which turned out to be extremely helpful for holding the nuts in place while I screwed in the bolts. These little details can make the assembly process so much more convenient.Regarding the finish of the wood, it's pretty decent for its price. I noticed a few rough patches, but nothing some sanding couldn't fix. After a quick sand-down and a reapplication of oil, the bench looked even better and felt smoother.For anyone considering this bench, I’d say you can't go wrong with it for the price (under £100). It’s a solid, lovely piece of furniture that serves its purpose well without breaking the bank.
