Center of gravity is wayyyy too high. If you have a person on the back you'll probably wreck unless they stickntonyou like you're one unit. It does fold up amazingly though. It does get me around just fine. I like it. It has decent speed. But if I wasn't 90% going for space saving, I'd of bought a better cheaper kind.

Here's the deal on this badass trike: I use it for about six 1-2 mile trips a week with me, my petite wife, our 3 year old and our 6 year old, all on at once and then a variety of single;e person 3 mile trips as well. When not in use, it's folded up in the kitchen closet. I get compliments from strangers (parents, traffic cops, other cyclists, etc) every single time I'm out. No exaggeration. Every time. It's a comfortable and cool invention. Now, that said, it isn't perfect. (What is?) The acceleration is a bit jerky from a standstill. You should ALWAYS carry the included multi-tool with you as this vehicle is constructed with many allen-wrenched parts that normal vibrations will loosen. You'll need weekly tightening and adjustments. Particularly the brake positions and a single piece that allows the fold-up but keeps loosening and PREVENTING the fold up. Not hard to adjust and the multi-tool is included (with my package at least), but different than the adjustments needed from using a bicycle. ALSO, this trike has NO PEDALS and NO CHAIN. If the battery runs out (which it will do without warning you), then you just have to switch to the other battery, OR PUSH the vehicle. Also, check the weight against your personal strength: this is easily pushed on flat ground in folded or unfolded position, but NOT easily carried. Also the balance of the device in its standing position is slightly precarious; care must be taken make sure the unit is balanced and not leaning at all to prevent it from tipping over. The control mechanism for acceleration will require you to constantly depress with your thumb. This is not a full hand throttle as one might see on a motorcycle. SUBSTANTIAL assembly is required out of the box, so be prepared or bring it to a shop. The add-on components feel a bit more cheap than the trike itself which feels very high quality. With all of that said, I use this baby all the time and I LOVE it. Living in a major city and being able to smoothly bypass all that traffic and go pick up a friend or even 3 family members... it's a huge win. I've easily paid for this thing in bypassed taxi and uber fares alone. If you add in the value of all the saved time -simply leaving when you are ready and not waiting for taxis, ubers, not walking from drop off points to the actual location you are going to, not parking and hustling to meet your kids in the pick-up spot ... well if time is money, I made a pile of it. I am hoping for a second version of this with folding handlebars (to get even smaller in storage mode), carbon fiber to get even lighter and stronger, smoother acceleration and a better control and throttle, more elegantly incorporated lighting, and if we're making a real wish list: ACTUAL PEDALS AND GEARING so you can truly call this an e-bike and have the freedom to go as far as you want with it.

This unit is very well constructed and very sturdy. Has 2 batteries giving a lot of riding time on a single charge. Accelerates very fast and smooth. Lots of features including 3 seats, bright light and computer display. Display shows things such as speed, miles traveled and battery condition. I would not recommend this for kids or seniors as it is very heavy. This is great for camping and riding trails.
