Better then items at big box stores easy install and very attractive and heavy duty

I recently upgraded my bathroom with the DELAVIN 56-60 in. W x 59 in. H Frameless Bathtub Door, and I've got to say, I'm beyond impressed. The quality of the door is top-notch. The glass is thick and sturdy, giving the entire bathroom a sleek and modern look. I was a bit anxious about the shipping, given the nature of glass items, but my worries were unfounded. The packaging was exceptionally well-done, ensuring the door arrived at my doorstep in pristine condition. It's clear DELAVIN has their packaging down to an art.However, I did hit a bit of a snag with the installation process. The instructions provided were a bit on the tricky side to follow. If you're new to DIY projects or have never installed a shower door before, you might find it a bit challenging. That said, if you have any prior experience with shower door installations, you should be able to navigate through the process with a bit of patience and maybe a YouTube tutorial or two.All in all, despite the hiccup with the installation instructions, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The door adds an elegant touch to my bathroom, and the quality assures me that it's built to last. If you're considering upgrading your bathroom, the DELAVIN Frameless Bathtub Door is definitely worth considering. Just be prepared for a bit of a puzzle when it comes to the installation instructions!

The unit looks good, however the material other than the glass falls short for the price. The instructions are poor and vague They give you no dimensions. They don't tell you the size drill bits needed to install the anchors required to support the unit, nor do they furnish it. You are left to figure it out.Their should be at least three anchor points for the vertical supports. Not two. The instructions said the bottom must be cut at both ends to keep the center holes centereed for the ccenter guide. Their were no holes centered on the bottom rail.You are not supplied any tools to adjust the door heights. Their is no means of locking the adjusting bolts that if you are able to adjust the doors.Simply put the unit is a $ 215.00 unit, NOT the $549 plus tax that I paid for it. Not made of quality and forethought, but you are as if it were. BUYERS BE WEIR

I just installed this over my surround shower/tub combo. Since you can’t install the side panels against the wall, I installed against the acrylic. When temporarily taping the side panels, I noticed the top panel was approximately one inch to high and made the mistake of cutting 3/4” off both side panels…DON’T DO THIS as it messes with installing the doors correctly. I ended up raising the side panels about .5 inch from the tub. It was still a pain to install the doors due to the side panels not being quite tall enough.The glass doors are SOLID and high quality. The frame….poor quality, but I wasn’t expecting a $1,000 door frame as I only paid around $400 for this one. I installed it upstairs in a bathroom I rarely use, except to bathe my dog. It is definitely an improvement over a shower curtain and it looks nice. I removed one star due to the TERRIBLE instructions. Even the video is trash. No attention to detail or explanation. Other than that, I would recommend this product.

Product was well packaged in a large crate , looks and functions great.

Like all others said, almost completely worthless instructions, you better have some good common construction sense to you to get it installed. That said, I could install a second one pretty easily, after the fact it all makes sense. A lot of educated guess on how it goes together and where pieces fit and track guides go. Get good hacksaw blades, the top is thick. Protect the finish when handling pieces, black pieces, scratches all the way to shiny aluminum very easily if bumped or rubbed. Doors are stupid heavy quality, two person job to carry and install and reason first was returned, doors apparently shattered in first shipment returned, I WAS REFUNDED AND HAD TO REORDER and second box was destroyed, somehow only a small chip in one glass that would not be seen at top so I kept it. UPS/Delivery guy/girl will hate you for having to unload it by him/herself. Overall hundreds and hundreds less than a box store compared door set.

Ive installed probably 25 of these bloody doors from various brands.This is probably the lowest quality version but it was also the cheapest. If you want high quality get Vigo doors.That being said here is some specific feedback and hints for install.For whatever bloody reason they don’t give you shims. If your wall isn’t perfect you will most certainly need some. Get some ahead of time- honestly any clear rubber strips will do. If your wall isn’t totally plumb you can split the difference that way.This particular model is very very VERY easy to scratch. Be careful of that.Buy yourself a different handle- the handle hole spacing is pretty standard so just order something nicer. This one sucks.If you haven’t done a ton of these do NOT attempt to do this solo. A second pair of hands will really help.Overall the instructions are lacking. But looking at the photos will help. The fixed panel goes in front of the sliding door so set it accordingly- you will need more space for the sliding door than you expect. Also put the door into the tub BEFORE you set the fixed panel… you’ll thank me later.
