Precious set for babies & toddlers!
Bought as a gift for a friend for her baby shower and these blocks are too cute!! They’ll be great for play for many years and the quality was sturdy. My 3 yr old was jealous and was trying to take them from the gift and stash them somewhere for herself ;) I plan on getting her a set for her Easter basket! Would be great for stocking stuffers as well!

Just Play vs Disney Kidea
The media could not be loaded. I prefer wooden toys and my daughter is Disney-obsessed (especially princesses) so I ordered this Just Play set as well as some characters from another wooden Disney toy brand I found called Disney Kidea. Overall the Just Play are better for budget shoppers but if you want quality and can spend a bit more, Kidea is worth it. I've compared the two collections below for others who are looking for wooden Disney toys.Size: Just Play figures are taller than Kidea and include more of a tall, full body. The bases vary in width and some are difficult to stand up because of the height but most stand up just fine. I think Jasmine was the only one my toddler had had problems with from this set because of the tiny base. Both brands are the same thickness. Both sizes are fine and probably just a matter of personal preference.Finish: Just Play has an opaque, sticker-like graphic covering most of the front. The sides and backs are unpainted but the entire figure has a glossy coating and is more shiny than the Disney Kidea. Disney Kidea printing is more transparent and shows the natural woodgrain through the finish. It is printed/painted completely (front, back, sides) except for the bottom. The backs are printed to show the backsides of the characters, which is fun. The details seem to be imprinted more into the wood than just laying on top of the wood, if that makes sense. The finish is matte and they are grippy enough to be stacked.Materials: Both are beech wood I believe. They feel the same in density.Durability: The Just Play came out of the box with scratches in the graphics do not hold up as well as the Kidea. However, since the Kidea are printed/painted all the way around, we've had a few paint nicks along the edges. The Just Play sides are not painted so they will not have any issues with paint chipping along the edges.Aesthetic: The Just Play are brighter and more cartoon-like. It really bothers me that there is the black ‘Made in China’ lettering on the backs. The Kidea have a retro Disney look and I love the details and the way the graphics extend to the back. They remind me of the characters on the 'It's a Small World' ride in Disneyland. The brand lettering is somehow engraved into the bottom versus being printed in black on the backs.Variety: Kidea does not have a Moana figure, which is a bummer, however, there are many other characters available that are not available in the Just Play collection. I also bought Snow White and Aurora. There are two Rapunzel designs available in the Kidea collection, one with Pascal which is cute.Playability: My toddler plays with both brands and I think adults care about details more than kids do. She does point out and like the added details of the Kidea figures.Recommendation: If you want wooden princess figures but don’t want to spend a lot of money and don’t care as much about aesthetics, then get the Just Play figures. They are a great value for the price. If you can spend a bit more and want the extra quality and details, then get the Disney Kidea.

Problem with 1 doll
5 of the 6 princess dolls were good. The other was a blank piece of wood

Would have been cute but one was marked up
This set was adorable but one figure came marked up with black ink that cant be wiped off. I think its just pant splatter from the eyes. I dont have time to return it or id exchange it for a new set. Annoying that this line is pretty pricey and there would be that big of a defect on a figure.
