For the most part I like this lantern. There were a couple of minor issues but nothing terrible. I thought the color was black but it's more of a very dark brown. Also it's not smooth, it has texture to the surface. Also, the little stand that holds a candle is crooked when fully tightened, which makes the candle crooked. So I unscrewed it a little and it straightened. So as long as the holder isn't tight it'll sit straight. These little defects didn't feel worth my time to send it back and ask for another. It's going to sit, undisturbed and even though it's not quite black, it has the dark color I was looking for, so I kept it. Overall it's cute and feels sturdy.

I wanted a lantern that could go outside under my pergola. In the past the metal had rotted or metal rusted which took a while - but when it did I had to be careful of glass when throwing away… so this time I searched for no glass, wood or cheap metal, yet pretty. I’m going to order the medium size one because I’m so happy with the small one. I haven’t put a candle in it yet because we will be pressure cleaning soon. Also have to find a pretty chain to hang it but the orchid hook works fine for now. Color is dark gray not black

Very nice quality! Heavier than expected but sturdy

This lantern has been a delightful addition to my patio decor. Its charming farmhouse design and sturdy construction bring a touch of elegance to an indoor or outdoor setting. This is a nice addition to my decor. I have it outside, but under my porch overhang, so it is not in the elements. This is a heavy, sturdy candle holder and I was impressed with the quality when I took it out of the box. The color is black, but not shiny - this is a more rustic finish and great with farmhouse decor style. It is easy to find any candle to fit and nice to be able to change out the color frequently. The only issue I had is that the edges are not smooth. They are sharp and I even cut my finger a little bit. Watch out for the edges, otherwise a great product.

I did end up spray painting the lantern black because it was a grayish black & not the dark black I wanted. It has some weight to it, so it is sturdy & works well with my fall decor.

It is a heavy weight solid candle stand. The metal however is not smooth. You can set it out or hang it, I will be adding holiday decorations on it. I like the overall weight because I can sit it on my front porch and the wind will not knock it over.

I love the fact that this product is metal and it very sturdy. It looks great for center pieces in your home. Goes great with farmhouse theme
