MerrellWomen's Moab 2 Vent Hiking Shoe, Smoke, 8.5 M US

I've had these shoes for almost two years now. I originally ordered them largely because I was having a hard time finding decent quality hiking shoes with wide sizes. I eventually settled on these, despite thinking they looked like the ugliest features of a sneaker combined with the ugliest features of a hiking boot.Even at my most out of shape, walking in these has always been easy. They're extremely comfortable and very supportive, while still allowing my foot to move. I haven't used them a lot in the two years I've had them, but I have taken them out for a few longer distances (for a casual hiker) and I've been incredibly pleased with their performance. Hiking over rocky surfaces and jumping around on slippery grass, I've never had a complaint about how these shoes feel.I've worn these shoes in snowy, slushy, and wet conditions, and I've only ever had an issue with water when the top of the toe box was submerged for a long step in a creek. Even then, they dried out well and were wearable again the next day without feeling like I was putting on a wet shoe.If you're looking for performance and don't care about aesthetics, I highly recommend this shoe. If you want something versatile enough to wear out to a nice dinner after your long day of walking, though, this isn't it.

I love these shoes. The toe box is big enough that my toes are not squished together, as happens in other brands. And once I put in my orthotic insoles, there is still plenty of room so the tongue isn't pressing against the top of my foot. I wish the laces were a bit longer, but that is an easy fix. I like these shoes so much I think I am going to get a second pair to have on hand when the first ones wear out. Nothing worse than finding something you really love, only to discover they don't make them anymore when you go to buy them again.

I used them for rocky terrain around horse ranch. Great to walk on cattle guards. Walked in sand in horse arenas. Not only were they comfortable but heavy enough to protect my feet. I was concerned if my arches would take to this hiking shoe. I was looking for a protective shoe for hot Texas climate but not a hiking boot. I was pleasantly surprised.

I am very happy with this purchase:I am of grandmother age but it was a 30ish niece that complimented me on the shoes.As others have said, they were comfortable out of the box. Don't seem to need breaking in.I wore them to a goat farm and where I was able to try them out on rocks, and the walking was comfortable. These shoes are not over-padded and one gets to feel the ground. This is a plus. One does not want to turn off the sensors in the foot. I purchased them for the good reviews on the Vibram soles.I am size 8 in open shoes, and in closed shoes normally will buy the 8.5. Here, after reading the reviews, took the gamble and went for the 8. Happy I did so. These shoes are wide in the front, leaving ample room for the toes, even with a thick sock.I am looking forward to trying these shoes on hikes and walks. They are lightweight enough to also wear them as the bulkiest pair of shoes when traveling with just carryon abroad. I have been easily able to slip them on and off. They seem sturdy.

I'm on my feet all day. I walk 15 minutes to work and do a lot of walking all day. These are very comfy and water resistant. I've been wearing them for about 2 months now. I'll definitely go for another pair soon.

True fit, the Only brand I can Comfortably wear straight out of the box. Love that I can get the extra wide size. Toe box is roomy enough for my custom orthotics once the insoles are removed. These shoes are basically a low cut Of my Merrell boots that I have nearly worn out.

Bought 7.5. I am usually 7, but wanted extra room for thick socks. I have had them for a month now. Vacationing in all kinds of terrain. Not one blister or aches. The color is perfect. Easy to clean.This are not waterproof as per label, but water has not ever leaked into my feet.Excellent product.

I did the try and buy that Amazon provides and love these shoes. Great for hiking, but through time however I have found no matter what I do, the shoes don’t breathe and make my feet smell. I’ve washed the insoles. I spray them with Little or no luck. As soon as I put them on and then take them off when I go to dance class or other functions to change to other shoes Pewy! my feet absolutely reek. This doesn’t happen with any other pair of shoes I own only these and the other thing that bothered me they lose their shape after a short time of wearing them. I kept them because it was too late to send them back to Amazon, now I just use them for gardening or extreme emergencies, but I do not recommend these shoes for those very reasons afore mentioned.

Pedí 1/2 numero mas para estar comoda. Son equilibrados entre flexibilidad y rigidez de la suela, sin embargo deben usarse con calcetas medias-gruesas de otro modo el pie se mueve y genera roses. Comodos para estar 1 dia completo con ellos.

Aunque no me mandaron el color que pedí los tenis son muy cómodos, los volveré a pedir. Gracias al vendedor.

Lo uso para senderismo

Salí a correr con ellos en el monte y súper cómodos desde el primer uso

Compré los zapatos para mi esposa, en su talla habitual. Tras una caminata de 10k el calzado lastimó la uña del dedo gorro de uno de sus pies. Compramos una talla más grande y asunto resuelto; vamos en 12k sin problemas.
