This sweater was a much better quality than I was expecting - nice surprise! The price was affordable, considering it is something our Wesley will wear seasonally. The fabric is soft and flexible, and is very thick providing a lot of warmth on cold, Christmas nights. Wesley is a terrier mix and weighs 30 pounds, so we purchased a size XXL based upon other product reviews and recommendations.

Received this sweater today and my pooch loved it. I have a 12 Lb. Chihuahua Fox Terrier mix with neck 12.5”,, girth 18”, and length 13”. I had read many of the reviews because my pooch, generally, wears medium and reviews said to go up in size. Glad I did because the large size fit perfectly. It is a bit snug in the chest area though, but my pooch could still move freely. It does take maneuvering around the arm holes a bit to get the paws in as well as when removing because the sweater is a bit snug around the chest. Overall it fit nicely and is well made. My pooch usually has sweaters slip off on their own when they stretch or the sleeves have to be folded so her paws do not get caught. The sleeves on this sweater are just the right length. This was my first Fitwarm purchase and I will be buying additional sweaters in each color. If there were such thing as “regular” and “fitted” in dog wear, I’d say Large size fit like a glove as it “fitted”. Definitely go up in size from what your pooch would normally wear if planning to purchase this item. Someone posted a review that she is an avid knitter and that this sweater is well-made. The quality is evident, it’s a pretty sweater, soft and warm, and appears as if it was hand-knitted. It’s worth the purchase.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered a small for my 7lb Yorkie. The reference guide stated an extra-small but looking at the measurements, the small would fit best. At first I was a little put off by the different colored legs, but now they add a little extra flare. I’ve brought numerous sweaters over the years for my little guy, but nothing has had this high-quality! The cost is a bit more than I usually spend but it is well worth it! It’s tightly knit, will not stretch out, extra long to cover to back to their tail, and the front legs are prefect for him to stay warm in our frigid North Dakota temps!

This sweater is a great quality, as can be expected from Fitwarm. The colors are nice and it’s build well. Seems plenty warm enough, but my little one looked kind of boxy in it and not comfortable. I ended up returning it since she didn’t seem to like it, but the item itself is great and I would’ve kept it if she just liked it as much as I did. The sleeves are longer and I really liked that about it for a few reasons. Her tiny bony legs got coverage for once and her excess fluff was not popping out of the sweater because of that. I wish she liked it too.

Another great item from FitWarm! Sweater is an XS, and Chi is 4 lbs. She's got a thick, short little neck so finding something to fit her can be a challenge. This sweater is a little stiff in the front and around the neck, as well as a little tight on the neck for her. I'm working on stretching the nexk out a bit to get a perfect fit for her. Even though it's made of polyester, it's still stretching nicely.As note, I'm an avid knitter and found the quality of the construction well done, it looks like it was seemed as a knitter would and not with a sewing machine allowing for some give. I also found the polyester to be pretty nice feeling even if I'm not a fan of the stuff.

I have owned dogs all my life. I have ordered and received some real disappointing items and some great items for my dogs. I would consider these sweaters as quality items. I have two dogs, 11 years (Havanese) and 15 years old (Shih-tzu/Bichon mix). Both are 18 lbs, but one has a shorter, rounder body than the other. According to the size chart, my dogs should have worn a size medium and size large. The medium was snug on the Havanese, yet the large fit him nicely. So I sent the medium back and ordered an x-large. That way the Havanese would wear the size large, and the Shih-tzu/Bichon would wear the x-large. (I have the cuffs folded one fold and have added some hand-stitches so they stay up permanently.) I would recommend these sweaters. The sweater I sent back was promptly credited and the x-large was received within four days of me sending the medium sweater back!
