The media could not be loaded. I had my pollen totally dug out and after three rains it filled up in was very muddy. My pawn still is completely full. Of course I bought this product put it in there and this is 11 1/2 hours later! It is amazing! The water before was mucky and muddy, and now it’s blue and more beautiful! If you’re second-guessing, whether to buy this product, don’t you will not be disappointed. It was a quick delivery and the price was amazing. I say buy it.

The media could not be loaded. I thought I was ordering a gallon, so when just a quart showed up I was kind of upset. I thought I would be buying another two or three jugs to dye my pond, which is about 3/4 of an acre and about 5 feet deep on average. Turns out, I just needed the one quart. It made my pond a beautiful deep blue and the fish are way more visible and active now. It also helped stabilize the temperature problem I had been having where the top portion of the water would be super hot (97 degrees Fahrenheit) and the bottom was cold (60 degrees Fahrenheit). After the dye, the temperature difference is much less drastic, closer to 80 on top and 70 on bottom. This has been the best purchase I've made for my pond, hands down.

It dyes the water a very dark blue which is what I was looking for. It lasts for a long time. I do add a drop or two every other week to keep it the color I like. Otherwise, it stays blue for a long time, even after a hard rain. The only thing you need to be aware of, wear gloves when using because this stuff will stain your fingers and hands a very bright blue which is very, very difficult to get off your hands. If it gets on your clothes, it isn't coming out, so be careful when using it. Squirrels and birds come to our yard for the water and the blue dye doesn't affect them. As advertised, it will not harm wildlife. Great product.

Aqua Shade is better but this is the best that ships to CA.

As pictured my smaller pond was very brown and dirty looking. After purchasing I added the dye directly into the water around the bank edges. These pictures are 15 minutes apart! Depending on where the sun is the color does vary but it's so pretty! The ponds wildlife don't seem to mind it as we went fishing 6 hours after and they were still biting. Our pond is smaller than an acer 6feet deep and I used the entire bottle. The dye will stain your hair and skin if you get it on you.. it is very difficult to get out so use caution. Otherwise great product!!

BE WARNED. This product is extremely concentrated. I added the dye to the pond being very careful not to splash the dye. Later I washed my hands and microscopic specks of dye must have been carried by the air because wherever the water hit, I turned blue! My arms and shoulders were covered with dye. I looked like a Smurf. The product is outstanding and covers a great amount of pond acreage. Buy this. You won’t be wasting money like with other products.

The pebbletec on our pool has faded a little so a teaspoon or so of this dye really turns the water blue.. It stays blue for a couple of days and then fades out I guess due to the chlorine. I put a couple of drops in my fountain with non-chlorinated water and it stays blue for weeks very happy with this product and remember a little bit goes a long ways

The product works great in my half acre pond keeping algae down. Shipment package could improve preventing damage and leakage. The plastic had a small crack allowing leakage. The cap was secured. See picture.I will not return this mess.
