In the Middle of Fall

What a fantastic seasonal book! My son is 15 months old and is just learning about pumpkins, apples, squirrels, leaves, and all of the fun things often associated with autumn in the Midwest. It's perfect because we can look out the window and see something (like a squirrel), and then open the book and find it. I don't know how this would go for children who live in other states where they don't experience the glory of fall, but for a little boy in Wisconsin, this book is perfect.

This book is a staple in our home, so much so that I've had to replace it twice. I prefer this board book because it holds up well to little baby and toddler hands and mouths. Our kids love the illustrations and some of them have the book memorized. Beautifully and lyrically told. We love it.

Beautiful illustrations, thoughtful/thought provoking storyline, fall vocabulary, calming. Love to read this and sit with each picture for a moment. Much prefer to the spring version though...

This was a gift for a 3 year old boy. He enjoys the book. The pictures are very nice and lots of color.
