these tie backs dont need any fixings on the wall as the rope holds through the loop well. There is enough length to the balll to create interest and the colour works well with my patterened curtains which have a lot of grey in them.

These look fine and classy, not too formal, however they still need hooks into the wall to retain the tiebacks.
