Improve grip of slippery basketball shoes
My boy is playing indoor basketball this winter season. The school gym floor is newly polished and is as smooth as mirror. Some of the players may have problem in their shoes, either the sole is worn out or covered by dust, they fall repeatedly. So, I decided to do something to help the team. I bought this product which claims to help improve grip of basketball shoes without damaging the rubber sole.I tried it on a few players shoe sole, just spray and wipe with a clean cloth. It worked amazingly! the kids ran and stopped without any sign of slipping. So, I give it to the coach so that all the players can use it when needed. This basketball season is over now. I will buy it again for the next one.

Put this in your travel bag for club sports
Ever try to play basketball, cheer, or volleyball on an away court that clearly doesn't get dusted? Does your libero slide unintentionally while running for a ball? Ours doesn't. Now

Does nothing in my tests and bottle leaks
Used as directed on both shoes as well as one shoe only in different tests. There is no difference in "grippyness" on wooden courts. Tried this at 3 different gyms. Gave the product to others to try as it was worthless for me. Also to note, item had to be replaced because the bottle leaks and ruins the bottle label with bleeding colors. Product arrives with cheap labels that do not match the website picture. It looks like someone printed labels in their home office and put them on the bottle.

Thought it was a scam but…
I thought this stuff was too good to be true but it actually works pretty well. I play on a really dusty court and I have to wipe pretty often to get some grip. I tried this with the KD17 and I didn’t slip the whole night and whenever I wiped out of habit there was little to no dust on my hands. I think the magic of this product is that it really helps keep the dust OFF your shoe. I took a star off because like other reviews mention, the label of the product basically melted off and I ended up just removing it, but the product itself is fine. I’m going to try it on different shoes and see what happens.

Need to use way too much for it to work
I tried Grip Spritz – Basketball Shoe Grip Spray, and while it does offer some traction, I found myself needing to use way too much product for it to work. Even after applying several sprays, I had to keep respraying throughout the night to maintain grip. For the price, it’s just not worth it – but I also don't know what other options are out there. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions for alternative products.

Tiny + Doesn’t Last = Poor Value
This bottle is 2 oz and doesn’t have a lot of sprays in it. Wouldn’t be horrible if it lasted longer than a piece of Fruit Stripe gum. Frequent reapplication needed. At almost $15 for 2 oz, it’s not quite as expensive per ounce as beluga caviar, but definitely not worth the price. Better off just using the old school wipe of the brow and wipe of the shoe. Traction pads are the better way to go.Also, as has been mentioned, I don’t know why the bottle comes looking like it’s already been leaking. Don’t think it had because of the sticker that comes over the top to prevent this, but not a good look. See pic for reference.
