Initial thoughts are very positive... time will tell if it lasts.
**Edited again to provide 4 month followup.4 month followup:Trim is just now beginning to fade. Vehicle is always outside, so I guess I can't complain too much. It seems to be fading in spots, and not consistently all over - kind of interesting.Anyway, I'd say expect it to last in the 4 month range vs. the year range that it promotes. Still very satisfied from a value perspective, especially when other products at a similar price point last a few weeks. Will try some touch-up to see how it goes.**Edited to add a star after 2 months as product has held up and looks the same as when I originally put it on. That's already better than a lot of other non-ceramic products on the market!**Followup thoughts:* After 24 hours, it was completely dry and smooth to the touch. Great!* No indication of fading after two months - looks the same as the day I put it on. Also great!* You are probably only going to get a single use out of the applicator pad so do what you need to with it in one shot. Outside of mine separating, once the product dries on the pad, it will get stiff and start breaking to pieces.* Use a few drops of the product at a time and try to get a consistent coating as THIN as possible. I can tell areas where I didn't coat it consistently on my vehicle at certain angles (it looks thicker/"wetter"). Not bad by any means (and not noticeable to those that aren't looking), but it does bug me a bit.Overall I'm thrilled with the product and, having never done anything like this before, I believe I could do the job twice as well and in a faster timeframe than my first try.Original review below./////I took a chance on this product with no reviews. Not exactly sure why, other than I was determined to get a ceramic based product (which this one claims to be) and this one seemed to be the least expensive option that was specifically intended for plastic trim.Since I'm one of the first (or maybe the first) to review this, I feel it important to say that I paid for this product. It wasn't provided to me for free to review or anything like that.I spent about 2 hours putting this on the trim of my 06 Jeep Liberty. For those not familiar, there is nearly as much plastic on this vehicle as there is paint. Over time, this plastic trim fades. Outside of fading to a not-so-attractive light gray, there were also "zebra striping" in certain areas. Most of the blacks had a funky "rainbow" effect going on as well.My initial thoughts on the packaging:-Product itself appears to be quality but is packaged somewhat generic. Just a plain white box with instructions that were obviously written overseas. My package had a 1/2020 manufacture date with a 2022 expiration date.-Product came with the liquid in a 30ml glass bottle, folded up instructions and an pretty fantastic foam applicator pad. Unlike other ceramic based coatings for paint, this sponge came with a rough textured side that was great for applying the product to plastic. Though it started to separate towards the end, it made the process so much easier than I've seen other ceramic applications use. After prepping the plastic surfaces (scrubbing with soap and water and then using 70% iso alcohol on each piece right before application), I began using the product. About 5 drops on the foam applicator and I began spreading it. I watched as the plastics were returned to a consistent, dark color right in front of my eyes.Note that this doesn't have a die to restore your plastics. It seems to coat/"wet" them and the ceramic property is supposed to keep them looking that way once dry. What this means is that it turned my light gray plastics to a dark gray and then faded/rainbowed black plastic turned a nice dark, consistent black.I imagine this is the "factory" look of my Jeep but can't verify because I didn't have it since new. My wife said it looks great and "like new" which is pretty good praise from her.I recommend trying an area not too noticeable to get used to how it applies and what it will look like. I did underneath my rear license plate as a starting point in case I didnt like it...I also recommend not working in direct sunlight. This is brought up a lot with ceramics and I see why. I bet it would have the opportunity to dry funky before you got a chance to wipe off excess.Speaking of excess, I did do a LIGHT wipe of excess product with a clean microfiber towel after about a half hour of the product setting in. You can tell excess product by it looking noticeably more wet than the rest. I did wipe from one side to the other instead of a traditional "buff" and it looked great. The product was not fully cured and was still a little sticky so I'd imagine a buff motion wouldn't be best.My overall thoughts are as follows:-I'm extremely impressed with the ease of use and results.-Preparation is key - clean your plastics fully to degrease them and make sure the product adheres correctly.-It promotes "no oily residue" and that's pretty much true. There was some stickiness while the product dries. I'm guessing this will stop being sticky once it has fully cured. It's already gotten better.-The only area that I'm not 100% impressed with is the zebra striping that was in the plastic. It's SIGNIFICANTLY better but I can still see it a little bit. Someone who didnt know it was there probably wouldnt notice it. I dont think this is a fault of the product but everything else came out so great I thought I'd mention it.-It doesnt seem to harm paint if you get some on it. I just buffed it out of paint with no residual product noticeable.-A little goes a long way. I did about 5 dots of liquid on the applicator pad at a time. After I was done, it seems like I have 3/8 or so of a bottle remaining. Again, my Jeep has a lot of plastic compared to an average vehicle. At this point, my only concern is longevity. If the product is truly ceramic based as it claims then it should last a year or more (hopefully a lot more). If I start to notice fading in the near future, I'll update my score and review to help other prospective buyers out.All the above said, I think it's worth a shot at the price point. I don't appear to be able to post pictures at this point, but if I do get the option to, I'll show a side by side of the trim with and without the product on it.

What changed?
I bought a bottle about two years ago when I noticed my newer Wrangler JLU exterior plastic parts were fading. This stuff was great when I used to to fix the problem. Really easy to use, it lasted about a year even with weekly trips to the car wash. Really impressed with this stuff at first. This not so much. I'm not sure what happened. I bought a new bottle to correct the fading again. It was difficult to get an even application. It ended up looking spotty in some areas and and a little streaky in others. Even worse, it faded after a month. Now the plastic is really streaky with dark and light spots. I didn't change a thing when it comes to applying this stuff. I followed the directions like I did the first time I used it. I don't know what was changed with the formula or if it was just poor manufacturing, but it's a bad buy now.

Restores weathered trim
You may need to apply several coats to get the desired effect. I applied and let it dry over night between coats. Took 3 coats for me. There were a few spots that were still a bit faded, so I went over them again allowing over night between coats.

Bring your faded car plastic back to life! Effective restorer or just a hype?
I purchased this FOLLOWIN plastic restorer hoping to restore the plastic trims on my Chevy Volt, which had faded due to exposure to the hot California sun. Instead of buying a new set of trims for $$$ I opted for finding a product that could bring back the deep black shine of the plastic trims and protect them from further damage. When I saw FOLLOWIN plastic restorer I decided to give it a try after reading many positive reviews online. The product arrived well-packaged. To my surprise, the bottle was smaller than I expected but I realized that it was a highly concentrated formula. The product comes in two 30ml glass bottles with a foam applicator pad that has a rough textured side for easier application. The instructions were clear, and the product was easy to apply. Before applying the product, I washed and dried the plastic trims thoroughly to remove any dirt and grime. Then I applied a small amount of the product onto an applicator pad and rubbed it into the plastic in a circular motion. The product does not restore the plastic with dye but rather coats it with a ceramic property that keeps it looking good once dry. It turned my light gray plastics into a dark gray and my faded black plastic into a nice dark, consistent black. The restorer worked exceptionally well in restoring the plastic trims on my car. The trims looked as good as new, with a deep black shine that was not there before.I need to add that the product did an excellent job of protecting the trims from further damage by resisting water, UV rays, and dirt, and even 3 months after product application my car's trim still looks like new. This is a fantastic result taking into account that I keep the car outside. I guess it's true that the ceramic coating technology used in the product provided an extra layer of protection and durability.Pro-tip. To ensure a satisfactory outcome, I strongly recommend trying the product on a hidden area first and avoiding direct sunlight while applying it. Always clean and prepare the plastic surfaces with soap, water, and alcohol. Apply the product with the included foam applicator pad in small qualities and in circular motions. After about a half hour, lightly wipe off any excess product with a clean microfiber cloth, be careful not to buff off the product. Don't try to apply it on all plastic surfaces, split them into smaller sections and take your time, don't rush. At the end, you will be amazed by the result! The only issue I had with this product was the size of the bottle. Full amount of 60ml might not be enough for more significant projects, but the product is highly concentrated, so a little goes a long way. Also, I had to use more product on more severely faded trims. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance of this restorer. It is an effective product that does what it claims, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to restore and protect their car's plastic trims.*** TL;DR ***I would recommend FOLLOWIN plastic restorer for its effectiveness in restoring and protecting plastic trims. It's highly concentrated, durable, effective in resisting water, UV rays, and dirt. But it comes in a small bottle and requires more product for severely faded trims. Nevertheless, for its amazing effectiveness, I give it 5 stars!+++ Pros +++1) Highly concentrated formula.2) Provides extra protection with ceramic coating.3) Resists water, UV rays, and dirt.4) Very effective in restoring plastic trims.5) Durable and long-lasting.6) Easy to apply.--- Cons ---1) Small bottle size.

Amazing
This product comes in a small bottle but I was able to do the fender flares front plastic mouldings on my truck as well as both mirrors. Restored them from a dull grey color to bold black, It has rained multiple times since I applied it and still looks great. Amazing stuff!
