I really didn't expect much from this product because of the low price. But I'm VERY Impressed by how it works! 1st the Battery Box is secured by 2 sturdy luggage kind of clasps. It makes it SO easy to change them. 2nd The Remote Control is FANTASTIC! It provides all sorts of Color Combinations & Display Modes. You can have them fade in and out, rotate the colors and even put them on a Timer to save Battery life. I wish I had found this product before the Holidays, because I wouldn't have needed to rearrange the Decorations to install different Color lights. All I need to do is pick the color & motion by Remote & Wah-Lah! It's a whole different style & mood! So if you're planning Holiday Decorations, you may place the lights & secure them one time & add or remove other Decorations. Or, you can just keep the lights up & use them to set whatever kind of Atmosphere you want in any room, all year long. 3rd You don't need extension cords or access to an electrical outlet to center your decor around. You can place them wherever you please.

I liked that they are battery operated with an on and off switch. The string itself is flimsy so once it's out you're not going to be able to straighten it out or reposition it. It served its purpose.

It was perfect for what I wanted it for. Would recommend.

Another review, that I should have read before buying this, commented that the white is not pure white. No, it definitely is not. It's a bluish white. I tested with fresh batteries and a fully charged power bank in case it was the power source, but no, it's the product.I wanted fairy lights that are pure bright white (with the option for color), and these are definitely not it.Also, as another reviewer commented, the light effects use all the colors and do not work when selecting a single color. The strobe effect only seems to use the "white" color and cannot be changed.I do like the option to plug it in to a USB power source so that I can use a power bank to run it for longer than AA batteries.Bought 3 packages (6 lights), returning at least 1 package, maybe 2, because I mostly wanted white light and the option of having color changing was a bonus.

They are be pretty chose the blue that's my favorite color, it just makes my night in front of my window. The only trouble I had it was a tangled mess, but I may have been to excited over them and made the mess. I don't know. but I haven't used the other set yet. This time I will be careful unraveling it

I have grown tired of the tedious process of putting up one color of light for a holiday, taking it down, and putting up another color light in my parking strip trees. I thought I would try these color changing lights so I could change the color instead of the whole light string. So far so good. They seem to be well constructed. They are shorter than I would have anticipated, so maybe order multiple strings for your decorating needs. For this it loses .5 stars.The timer is working well. I appreciate that I have the option of choosing different lengths of time for them to be on. I will clarify, however that if you choose a color, it does not work with the various light pattern functions. So either you have random colors doing the various flashing patterns, or you get a solid color of your choice. For this it loses .5 stars.I have bought two more packs to give my trees better coverage.

Bought this product to light up my wi Dow for Halloween. Lights were nice and bright but I had to replace the batteries every night as they were drained and dead. On the third night it fell apart.
