I love this chair and ottoman. I purchased it for my 95 year old mother who needed a place to sit and watch TV from other than her bed. It is petite and fits perfectly in her bedroom. The chair is not cushy, nor has soft filling. Though the seat is firm, it is perfect for someone who has any issues with getting up out of a sitting position. I would say that it is not only for an elderly person, but anyone who suffers with back problems or other orthopedic conditions that makes it challenging to get out of a chair. I have also sat in the chair and I must say I rather like it! I am very comfortable when sitting in the chair. The other nice feature is that it does come with the ottoman, which is really a bonus and functionally great for someone to be able to put their feet up while relaxing in this chair. In terms of assembly, it was merely screwing in the legs of the chair and ottoman. Easy as pie! The design of the chair is clean and simple and would look nice in many different decors. As I remember there are many fabric and color choices. I choose the blue linen fabric that coordinated with the many blue and white accessories in my mother's room.

I love the color of this chair!Other reviewers were disappointed by its petite size, but it worked perfectly in the space I needed it for. I measured the space I had and reviewed the measurements posted for the chair and found that it would fit perfectly. As a side chair for putting on shoes, looking through my purse, or waiting for my husband to gather his keys, it works perfectly for occasional seating.I find it comfortable and very pretty. I didn't need the little footstool, so I placed it in another room. This chair is quite lovely and well priced.

Easy to assemble, great color nice fabric...just smaller and lower than expected

This is a great chair and ottoman. I bought it for a corner of my bedroom and it fits perfectly. The color-blue- is also perfect. The seat is a little firm but it's not a chair we will use for long periods.

I love this blue chair and ottoman. At 1st I only wanted a chair because it's for a small bedroom, but now I feel great about the ottoman which complements the chair. Both accentuate that area of the room. Assembly involved screwing the legs on both the chair and the ottoman. The chair seats so comfortably with my feet up. I love firm cushions. I've bought enough furniture with cushions that eventually sank. This chair cushion is so firm that I'd be shocked if it sinks in the future.

Chair is VERY small. DON'T BUY THIS if your not sure it will work for you. YOU pay for the return. My shipping was $216- and I paid $150 for the chair!

Not very comfortable to sit but seems durable and was easy to put together

This chair is just what I needed. I don't have a huge apartment and I'm a minimalist so a couch with this chair is just perfect. I bought the blue and I liked that it was lighter than a navy. Easy to put together and looks great!
