For a picnic blanket, it seems to be quite expensive but we feel it is worth the extra money. We bought a green one. It looks luxury. The side on top is very soft and water proof. We went out with a baby who spilt milk on it, but because it is water proof so easy to clean. We also used it after a morning of rain, we didn’t feel the moisture on the grass at all. Easy to fold. The blanket is so well made that we feel it will last for at least a few summers.

Well made and designed product.- soft to touch- waterproof but non bulky backing- packs slim into small pack- rainproof cover (though does not completely enclose mat)- love the green colour- easy to pack- easy to fit in a rucksack to take with you- useful carrying handlePerfect size for me. Big enough for me and my girlfriend to stretch out / lie on. But could accommodate 4 adults sitting for a picnic.Really pleased with it.(The Costa coffee cup is a large one)

The best picnic blanket I have ever purchased. Still going strong after 8(!) years, it's comfortable, can be washed, and it's so easy to take around.

I really like this rug! It is big enough for 2 adults and 2 small children; I use mine for a 2 and a 3 year old. My previous one was difficult to fold to enable me to use the Velcro, but this one seems easier. The carrying handle is of a good quality and there is an extra piece sewn on to the rug which creates the fold around section. The waterproof backing feels as though it is part of the rug, whereas the previous one felt as if it was made from plastic and not attached to the material. I am sure I am not explaining this very well, but the backing on the previous one started to rip and was little more than like a bin liner; the backing on this one seems much more durable.Although I initially hesitated because of the price I now feel that actually this is really good value and it looks like it will be long lasting, only time will tell. It feels really comfy and stays flat even with small children crawling over it.I know I have mentioned the handle before, but it is also very comfortable to use.Don't go for the cheapest option, choose this one!

This blanket is definitely worth paying the extra few pounds for. The fleecy tartan material is soft yet sturdy and is well bonded to the waterproof backing which seems very tough and durable. It is quite easy to roll this blanket up and Velcro it back together. The Velcro is securely stitched in and looks as though it will stand up to many, many uses. Prior to buying this, I bought an inferior one made by a different company for £5 which ripped on first opening! I would recommend buying this Greenfield one as you will not fail to be pleased with your purchase.

Looks better than in pictures, it is light and seems durable, it has no plastic smell, soft surface, easy to pack and can fit 4-6 ppl for a picnic.

Exactly what I needed. A good quality, soft blanket which can be easily folded and stored when not in use! Nice size for 2 people and some picnic food.

Does the job brilliants - small and compact to carry, folds out to a decent size - perfect for outdoor Shakespeare or picnics - room for 3 or 4 people on it. Waterproof. Also the fabric is nice and soft to sit on, not itchy like the old wool picnic rugs.
