Better than expected for the price. Very sturdy, Easy to assemble. Solid wood - no MDF here. Serving tis purpose perfectly. The shelf under the bench is very nice to have.

Stitching tore within a few weeks

This was a great choice for our space. We have no entry closet and shoes tended to get lined up in our hallway, creating a cluttered-looking entry. The bench creates a stylish storage area and keeps the clutter tucked away just enough and looks chic and actually provides a spot to tie kids shoe laces or dry off our dogs paws. Great purchase!

Purchased this as a place for my daughter to place her bookbag and shoes. Initially, out of the box, I could not find the legs. So, be advised to remove the velcro covering under the cushion to find the legs!! We haven't tried to sit on it, but it is really more of a decorative piece/bag holder for us.

I bought this bench for my puppy. Some days he has to be confined to the kitchen while I’m at work and I wanted him to be able to look out the window. He’s still growing and around 50 lbs. I needed something sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, easy to assemble and affordable. This bench met all my requirements. I knocked off a star only because the bottom frame had some deep 2-3” long scratches, but I just built it with that side towards the wall so they wouldn’t be noticeable. It wasn’t worth the effort or additional carbon footprint to return. I was pleasantly surprised with how sturdy the bench is and the quality of materials. It had no odor either. It took a few minutes to put together. It’s been an awesome addition to my kitchen and both my cats and my dog use it every day. It was an easy and functional way to provide some added stimulation for them. The shelf below is pretty sturdy as well and great for storage of small and medium sized items.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. It has a shelf under the seat for shoes and the padded seat is very comfortable. It took about 30 - 40 minutes to put together but had easy to follow directions and the assembly tool was provided.

On first receiving this I loved it! Easy to assemble, fit perfectly, sturdy.The one drawback was that it smelled like a strong chemical for weeks. And if you laid clothes on it, they smelled too. I had to cover it with a towel until the smell dissipated.Today I noticed that the fabric is unraveling and pulling away from the buttons on it! And I’ve only had it a few weeks. It gets very little wear,an occasional robe tossed on it, or sitting to put on shoes.I love it and if not for the two problems, it would be five star. But I’ll have to get it reupholstered now.

I wanted a bench for the deck to hold my herb planter. This is sturdy and good looking. I am very pleased with this purchase.
