Swapping the tiny default antenna with this resulted in a major signal boost in my case.

Wow! 5* to Alfa on a decent omni directional 9db Antenna that actually works! I bought 4 different products, a directional ariel from Alfa of 6db, junk! A 16db omni aerial from China, junk! Also, a 25db high gain Yagi directional aerial. Not arrived yet from China. Don't waste your money in desperation, like me, trying to get a decent WiFi network connection. Just buy the Alfa 9dbi Antenna. This nearly doubled the amount of WiFi strength I was getting with the 2.4ghz Alfa aerial. If your a penetration tester or want to use it for wardriving, then this is the one for you.

I bought this because my solar inverter kept losing connectivity to my wifi, which meant I was losing data on how well my solar installation was performing. The original aerial for the inverter was only 4 inches long. This Alfa aerial is 12 inches long. I had hoped this aerial would provide stronger reception for the wifi, however there's no change in the signal strength. What it has helped with is reliability - the inverter has not lost connection to the wifi at all since this aerial was installed. Win!

It’s a lot larger than I thought it would be and definitely not stealthy but it does the job really well! Definitely recommend for pentesters out there!

Brilliant extender if you need to pick up wifi from a very long distance.

It picks up the same number of signals as standard small antenna supplied with awus036nha. Sometimes less.

Quando mi hanno consigliato questo prodotto ero parecchio scettico in quanto da ignorante non sapevo cosa volesse dire 9dbi ma quando l'ho testata non ne faccio più a meno. Questa antenna permette (a campo libero e senza niente che ostacoli il segnale) di raggiungere segnali wifi ben più lontani di quelli dei vicini di casa. Testato in campagna dove c'è poco inquinamento del segnale ho raggiunto (con due tacche su 4) il wifi della cascina vicina( che è a circa 700m)
