Wired backwards...
Needed this for a new motherboard build as my PSU didn't have the required connections. When it finally arrived (2 weeks late) after looking up the wiring for the item online I saw it was wired up incorrectly (12volt & ground all reversed) If this was plugged in as supplied it would (possibly) have damaged the mainboard. Easily removed all the pins from the 8 pin block and refitted.

Wired Backwards?!
So, I was about to connect one of these up and, lucky, I checked with an existing, in use, connector because it looks like the EPS 8 pin plug is wired backwards, The +12 (yellow) wires should be on the same side as the clip (pins 5 - 8), however, on these cables pins 5 - 8 are GND and pins 1- 4 are +12v. This isn't great as the molex connections are wired correctly so your looking at, possibly, destroying boards if using this to supply CPU power, like I was. I can still use them, I will just use the connections and terminal block but not ideal.

DONT BUY FROM THEM
This product was purchased to provide power to a PCI express Graphics card. It clearly states in the writeup for the item "Suitable for providing power to PCI Express cards, e.g. PCI Express Graphic cards" This is rubbish IT IS NOT. The profiles of the male part of the plastic plug are incorrect for fitting into the socket of a PCI express socket, ie the chamfers on the plug pins have chamfers on the wrong pins which prevents it being plugged in. This lot obviously havn't a clue what they are selling so STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND BUY FROM SOMEONE WHO KNOWS THEIR PRODUCTS. It was only a couple of quid but the time was more important,

Do not buy.
As Matt Richards has explained this EPS adapter was wired backwards and putting all voltage down to ground which has the possibility of killing your motherboard. Why is it still for sale 6 months after someone pointed it out? This adapter serves no purpose at all it's not for EPSor PCIE.I gave it 1* because I can't give zero*
