I used it on the exterior. The cowl at the bottom of the windshield it had a little rubber strip that was supposed sit tight on the glass to keep water and other contaminants from getting under the bottom of the windshield. I live in a cold state. So think water gets pooled at the bottom of the windshield, freezes then cracks the windshield.This product was easy to install, and fits well eliminating future problems.The cowl comes in two pieces $100 for each side. I fixed the problem for $10.

Definitely not a fit for my truck amazon said it would fit but it was not a fit way to narrow to work on a 1988 bronco maybe on a newer smaller car both the lip and all edges got swallowed into the gap definitely needs to be about a inch wider or two and a bigger wedge lip thingy to fit my truck

This did not work to trim out the inside of the windshield. The material was too stiff and twisted..Throwing it away... Bummer..

This arrived wadded up and permanently wrinkled, I couldn't use it for the vehicle application I had intended because it was an eyesore.
