It has a similar effect to the "Where's Waldo" activities back in the day but better. It really does captivates the child's and promotes conversations, learning, vocabulary and even bonding. The illustrations are so clever and the question guide really goes above and beyond in hitting all areas of speech. I think this has even helped me expand my though process. A+

I've been a SLP for 14 years and I now only buy materials that are super versatile and easy to use. This product was a no brainer since it can be used for every aspect of therapy; expressive and receptive language, social-emotional skills, articulation, responding to questions, formulating sentences, etc. etc.The kit comes with a wide variety of targets and lesson plan ideas ready to implement but the scenes are so vivid and full of action, they truly lend themselves to any therapy target and can be used creatively.The flipbook is well made and the pictures are so interesting. I especially appreciated the diversity and inclusion of each of the images. Kudos!One of my favorite parts is the sheet of reusable thought/speech bubbles that can be used with dry erase markers. So fun!If I were just starting my career, I would 100% buy this as a therapy material that can be used with your whole caseload. As a seasoned SLP, I love that this can simplify my lesson plans and I can target any goal using it. It's also perfect for itinerant SLPs because it's compact and fits nicely in a tote bag.

Each child I have for mixed expressive/receptive skills in speech therapy has different interests. This provides several different picture scenes that can catch interest. It is easy to use and when they have seen one scene a number of times they are ready to engage in a different one.

Speech therapist here and this product is really worth the buy especially for the price compared to the original website Northern Speech.

This is a great product. I have scoured the internet for "busy pictures" many times. This product has 20 "busy pictures" that are drawn to elicit authentic speech and conversation. On the "teacher" side of the flipped page are questions to ask students. Students can also ask each other these questions. This product is perfect for one-on-one or small group. (It's not large enough to present to a whole class.)

The media could not be loaded.  The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because two of the pages are the same which appears to be a misprint maybe.

I love using the spark products to teach SEL skills to my students . The pictures in this spiral book are cute and vivid with a lot of great detail. I use the scenes to teach skills such as identifying emotions and thoughts, conversation skills, finding hidden rules. This is a huge asset and I look forward to getting a lot of continued use out of it.

I love this product! My son has a speech delay and I am using it to help improve speech and language. It’s great for 5w questions! There are 20 illustrated theme pages: campfire, fall, rain, circus, grocery, school, snow, park, birthday, carnival, farm, picnic, library, toy store, zoo, kitchen, beach, pet shop, restaurant, and airport. Each page has about 60 questions on the back, so it is easy to ask questions while child observes the pictures. The questions cover lower and higher level questioning. The pictures are very detailed and sturdy. I have no regrets purchasing this item!

Great pictures, you can ask lots of wh- questions, I love the question section because I can print it for parents for homework!
