This was easy to assemble. Just be careful when unfurling the sails and rigging. All parts fit together well. This piece really added some authenticity to my coastal theme.

I bought this for my partner for Christmas. He was thrilled. The only assembly involved putting the sails up. Follow the picture guide and this will be easy.I chose this model because it is closest to the actual ship it is modeled after. The sails look like they could actually function. Many boat models have sails that may seem aesthetically nice. But any sailor could tell you they would never actually work.I am very pleased with this purchase.

I have been wanting to do a craft built sailing ship for a while, but have been put off by the variance in pricing. I've seen kits offered ranging from 500.00 to 5000.00. I saw this product which promised easy assembly and offered a easy buy in price so I chose to stick my toe in the water. While it's not exactly the quality that I'd like for display in my living room, it was a great choice for an introduction to the market, and the quality was more then I expected. Great value for the price.

This is a model replica of a historical 3-masted schooner ship with intricate craftsmanship. Named "Atlantic," the wooden ship comes mostly pre-built, and it's mounted on a pedestal, making it a perfect traditional display piece for the fireplace mantel. The ship measures about 25 inches in length, so it makes an impressive display.Made of basswood, the model is crafted on a 1/107 scale and comes expertly hand-carved and painted. The oxford fabric sails and intricate rigging make the schooner look realistic and the craftsmen clearly paid great attention to detail.It only took me about 30 minutes to put together, and the process was straightforward. The 3 masts are inserted into the deck and the sails are pre-attached. I only needed to hook the rigging in place.The ship's deck features two launch boats, a ship’s wheel, and the stern even has a propeller, adding to its detailed representation of the historic schooner.I’ve always loved sailing ships and I’m happy to have this collectible museum replica model. It was fun and easy to put together, and it didn’t take too much time. It's a beautiful representation of the historical sailing yacht, and it’s here in my living room! It would make a unique gift for your favorite high-seas adventurer..

This model schooner is ship shape and handsome. It arrived (in a very lightweight box) with the hull and deck fully assembled, and the three masts with the sails attached. The diagram was a little hard for my old eyes to read, but within ten minutes I had all the masts and nets in place, and all the sails anchored to the right places. Note: the on deck accessories are glued in place. There's no moving the "cargo" or turning the captain's wheel. Nevertheless, I absolutely love the look of "The Atlantic," and would definitely snag another model.
