Very good clamp.
I have a lot of clamps in my workshop and bought these to do a specific job. I wasn't very hopeful as to the quality and guessed it might be a use on one job and bin them. How wrong was I? As an engineer I have to say that these clamps are not only great value but are strong and as well made as possible for the price. The amount of gripping force is more than I expected and they have a decent size grip handle for you to tighten down with. The thread is smooth in use and has good tolerance between male/female parts. The only downside for me was I thought the fixed foot surface was a bit scruffy (not flat) hence 4 stars. This I have put right myself. I have since bought more of these and larger ones as well. Highly recommend this product and it's not often I say that.

A rare example of something not being too good to be true!
So far I've bought eight of these and for a little over £5 a pop I'm nothing but impressed. There aren't any frills, but they do everything that you can ask of an F-clamp and are priced extremely well.As long as you aren't cranking them down until they're tighter than a camel's ass in a sandstorm, you shouldn't worry about the arms shearing like a few people have mentioned. My only guess is that their clamps came with casting defects and/or took a bad knock in transit which caused a hairline crack that opened up when put under load - that's the only way that normal clamping pressure would cause that sort of damage. That said, they aren't indestructible - of my eight that I've owned for around two years I've had the top arm pop off of one which I drilled and resecured with a bolt. If you do have a weird use-case where you genuinely need to use 1,000,000,000,000kg of clamping pressure on something, there is probably something better suited to your needs than these. If I were to nitpick, it'd be nice if the plastic cover at the top of the clamp came glued into place - that's the only part of the clamp that feels properly chintzy. If you're not careful they'll go missing, but it's easily solved with a few drops of CA glue or epoxy, or just by using cauls.

900mm Clamps
Does what it has to, not very impressed with the quality....if I'm honest I'd say they were badly finished or secondhand as the top coat is made to look like chrome but is badly chipped all along the edges, they don't look like you would expect right out of the box, in their defence they do what they are supposed to, if you intend to make professional wood products you will want a better quality clamp

Not perfect, but excellent quality for the price.
Just starting out doing woodworking, I needed some clamps to get me going, and as a good compromise between price and quality – which is exactly what you need when you're not exactly sure how you'll end up working, how many or what sizes of clamps you'll need – my choice fell on these ones. They feel solid, have good clamping force, and though the heads aren't aligned perfectly, I've had no issues with them so far. The plastic cover on the fixed head is a bit loose, but it's yet to fall off accidentally, and on one occasion I actually needed it off, which was easy to sort out.In conclusion, they are not perfect, but they might be the only type of clamp that most people will ever need, and the quality to price ratio is absolutely excellent.

Good value clamps
These are reasonably well made F clamps and we'll worth the additional cost compared to the very basic Silverline clamps (I know as I have just bought one of those and they are a world apart). I already have a similar Stanley F clamp and these are very similar quality and about half the price. I have had no problems with them so far clamping 2x4s together and other woodworking projects. They have a decent sized plastic protective sleeve on both ends of the clamp and a comfortable plastic handle. I have had no slippage on tightening and they move easily along the ridged bar to adjust. I will definitely get some more the next time I order anything from Amazon, as you can never have too many clamps!

Sturdy and good value.
Good quality and more than adequate for clamping a cabinet I was building. Easy to use once I had squirted a small amount penetrating oil on them to loosen the clamp slides. Will buy a selection of these as I need different sizes.

Needs a lock
There should be some form of lock on the bar the teeth on the edge don't lock
