We absolutely love this shelving unit. It is higher quality than most self assembly units I’ve bought from Amazon, Ikea, Walmart. The finish almost looks like real wood! The bars are very sturdy, maybe iron.It’s a perfect shelving unit for my extra kitchen gadgets.I have to warn people though that it is both very easy and very hard to assemble. It takes time just because there’s about 70 screws to make tighten. Another problem is that too I have to pay careful attention to the numbers and letters in the assembly manual otherwise it is very easy to mid up the longer screws with the shorter screws, in which case you might have to start all over :D Also the bars really need to be facing the right direction or you won’t be able to add the supports to make the unit even more sturdy. I found that the attachments for wall attachment was unnecessary for us since it was very sturdy and not wobbly and highly unlikely to fall.

I am very pleased with this shelving. It is handsome and sturdy, light weight, and the way it's put together leaves lots of room for books and other things. Assembly was easier than expected. Extra parts were included just in case. I liked my first purchase so much I ordered another one. My only criticism: The price could have been lower.

I usually ignore reviews that say assembly is difficult because I'm mechanically inclined and enjoy putting furniture together. We recently moved and it took me less time to assemble a bunk bed than it did to assemble this thing. It IS sturdy once together and fits perfectly for what I needed, but why are the directions not better? I paid such close attention to how I was putting things together only to get to the last step and have to take the whole thing apart to fix it. The X at the back needs to line up (obviously) but I didn't check the actual measurement before putting it all together. In order to flip the holes for one, all shelves have to come out and all 4 poles have to turn.The look is great, my hands were FILTHY, and it had so much trash with it. Overall, I'd buy it again just save us all the headache and put an arrow sticker to say which way the pole should face or show it specifically in the instructions (I checked when I was finished, and it's no there). The hooks are almost useless since they don't actually attach in any way but it's nice to have. I have the shelf on carpet so I took the back 2 adjustable feet out so it would lean towards the wall (I don't need to or want to anchor it at the location it's in).Other reviewers are being truthful with what a pain it is to install. Many hours just for a shelf is not typical especially when a nearly 1000 piece bunk bed was quicker.

I needed a shelf that had just over 12" in height for yearbooks. Very few shelves accommodated this but this one had even more space than I needed due to being adjustable. I wanted something lightweight, small footprint, tall, nice looking, and enough of a lip to hold up books so they didn't fall out the sides or back. Perfect for my needs.

I put it together by myself in about an hour, so not too bad, but not to easy. The final product was worth the time and effort though. It looks great and once the tie strap is connected to the wall behind it, it's very stable for a small width shelf this tall. I'm thinking about a second one now right beside this one in my space, as the six shelves didn't last as long as I thought they would., the are all full now and I still have need for more. So, I'm going to get another when I can and put it right beside this one. So, that's a good review from me. Unless you splurge for solid wood instead of particle board type shelves, this one is very nice for 2024 sorta cheap. Just wish it had a twin next to it... :-) Soon...

You get what you pay for! Not always the case so it’s a pleasure when it happens. Looks like the photos and easy to assemble. All pieces were labeled and even included extra screws! Everything was aligned so clearly the company has excellent quality control and directions were clear and sensible. Measurements were exactly as advertised and it’s a sturdy piece as promised.

This is really really poor quality. I was not expecting much for the price but this is so far below ikea and with damage on the “wood” on both the items we purchased when opened. Absolute crap.

Took a mechanic over and hour to assemble, came in a million pieces and the bars don't match up to the picture. In the end, it's a nice rack and works well in an Air B&B as a place to store anything for easy access. The shelves have borders to prevent anything from falling off. Looks nice. Needs to be against a wall for secure stability. Would buy again.
