Purchased this for brand new '22 Ford Edge AWD SUV. Having a magnetic drain bolt is extra protection for any vehicle! Your oil filter will catch/hold most particles.. if changed in timely manner. Having this as extra protection surely cannot hurt. Many race cars & OEM high performance vehicles come w/these from factory.

Excellent product. Use this on my 2003 Chevy Silverado and have had no issues in the past couple of months since installing.

Terrible. Leaks No Matter What
Swapped on a 2014 silverado 5.3. I’ve changed my oil since I’ve had vehicles and never had an issue. I’ve even tightened this down more than I was comfortable and it still leaked. I even tried different copper washers they sent and nothing worked. Save your money and buy dorman or OEM.

I run these in all my stuff.
So nice to drain your oil and look at the magnet and see nothing on it. Tells me the engine is doing great. No bearing problems.
