portable and sturdy way to organize yarn and supplies
Has several compartments great for keeping yarns separated and six grommets for yarn to be fed through, as well as an opening for inserting work in progress and space for patterns. Other zippered and non- zippered compartments for ease of storing crochet hooks and knitting needles as well as notions. It's sturdy, well designed and portable. See through plastic top. Design is well thought through for user. Love it.

Nice crafts bag
I like the size and quality of this bag. I purchased it to keep all my supplies for UV resining jewelry in one place. The only thing I can fault it on is that although it has pockets, to keep items separate, the pockets are not connected at the bottom, so actually items escape into the general area of the bag, so aren't as helpful for organizing as one would think. Not sure there's an after market fix, even for a crafter.

Updated: Removed one star
Update: I did remove one star because of the the elasticized hook holders in the front zipper pocket. The spacing for the hooks is very uneven on both rows. Now, if you are using this space for regular aluminum and steel hooks it works fine. But if like me you use the ergonomic handled hooks the uneven spacing becomes an issue. I will need to purchase a hook case in order to store my ergonomic hooks.Other than the about issue this is a nicely made good quality bag. Seems that it will hold up for many years.Fits all my yarn for the 50" x 62" afghan I'm crocheting. I currently have eleven 7oz medium weight skeins standing on end in the bag. It will hold more laid across the top, but for my purposes I prefer to use this bag for a single large project at a time. It's so much more convenient to have everything all in one place and drawing the yarn from the holes at the top makes crochet even more enjoyable since the yarn is held firmly in place and doesn't go bouncing all over the place. There's also plenty of storage for smaller items and instruction books on the outside of the bag. The front zippered storage has lots of elasticized loops for hooks with a small zippered area for other needed items like scissors, retractable soft measuring tape, needle threaders, etc...... This compartment also has a clear pocket to hold more necessities. I have put all of my packaged yarn needles and carded buttons here.Bottom line: This is a very nice large bag that I wish I had owned many years ago.I purchased this bag to help keep pet fur from my yarn while working on a project and for portability to take along with me.

Definitely worth the money
I honestly love this thing. It holds enough yarn for a few projects at once, there is a dedicated space for all of my hooks and smaller notions, as well as large storage pockets on each side of the bag (which I use for all of my sewing machine parts, thread/bobbins/scissors, etc. as well as pompom makers). The zippered pocket on top of this bag is my favorite, which I use for quick access of the hooks Iβm using for my current projects, stitch markers and a measuring tape. The only part of this bag that I donβt like is that the top portion has a flap that does not close securely. Iβm sure this is so that you can pull your working yarn through the top of the bag and the bag can remain closed while you work. However, for someone with cats, this is a nightmare. They reach their little arms through this section and wreak havoc on my yarn stash and projects. I have had to cover the bag with a blanket to stop the cats from ruining my life. This may be a useful feature to some, but for me, it is the biggest (and almost only) downfall of this bag.It seems to be quite durable. I have been using it heavily every single day since I got it (about two months ago at this point) and it is doing fine. The only small complaint that I have is that one of the zipper pulls has come off of the actual zipper mechanism. This will be easily fixed with some pliers to just close off the little hoop that keeps the pull attached to the actual zipper.Overall I would definitely recommend this bag to anyone who you know that crochets or knits seriously.

Perfect size
I love this yarn bag! I am able to fit THREE crochet projects in this bag, with all the yarn I need. I crochet and sell sweaters for women and dogs, as well as take certain special orders for people too. I am always working on different items and never know which project I feel like working on, so this bag is perfect.I was a little concerned about a few comments from other customers who stated that the bag does not stand up on it's own, however, as soon as I took it out of the box and straightened it out, it stood all by itself! There were no issues with this bag.I also like the fact that there are two different ways to carry this bag. There are two short handles that can be Velcro-ed together, or a longer adjustable strap for carrying the bag over your shoulder.I also like the top design of this bag. There are six different holes to feed yarn through, which helps me with my multiple projects at one time. There is also a great clear top flap that closes with magnetic snaps for your project(s). These snaps work great and practically close themselves when you are done pulling out the project you want to work on. This makes it super easy to sift through the projects I'm working on and then I don't have to worry about closing the top section, as it closes itself. For an overall review, I love this bag and would recommend it for anyone who enjoys crocheting or knitting on the go.

Great!
I really enjoy crocheting, and this bag is perfect! The front pocket is great for my hooks, and the back is great for pattern books. The main compartment is very spacious and fits lots of yarn.

It's big, pricey for the quality and not very pretty. Takes 14" needles, wool, patterns and notions
I wrote a previous review thinking i was returning this, but on reflection I've decided to keep it. True, the picture showed a grey bag BE AWARE that for the grey bag seen, you're actually ordering a black case (as the blurb states). There is no grey bag, so a bit misleading.having accepted I'm keeping it, it takes all my many 14" needles and wool etc. Stores my patterns too. Until I need it it will sit in a cupboard. Not for show this bag. Functional and over-priced. You have been warned.

Mostly good but not for knitting needles
Firstly this a capacious bag with loads of different storage options which has allowed me to finally organise my wool stash and the bulk of my tools. However the pouch in the lid does not (as advertised) take 35cm needles. The studs at each end prevent anything other than short needles being stored here, therefore only 4 stars. Their picture showing knitting needles stored in this pouch is misleading. As long as this is not crucial to your purchase then this is a good value for money yarn storage bag

Fantastic Crochet/Knitting bag!
This bag is fantastic for all my yarns and Crochet bits & pieces! It has plenty of divided sections inside for my wool. Also has 2 pockets to the side, a large pocket on the back and the pocket on the front which opens for easy access to my Crochet hooks etc. which keep them organised and secure. There is easy access on the top of the bag and clear vinyl so you can see where everything is. I am new to the world of Crochet and wanted to treat myself to a decent, sturdy and practical bag for my Crochet belongings, and is totally portable too. I ordered the Red colour, which looks very smart. You won't be disappointed, I can highly recommend this bag.

Would buy again
Product was a day late arriving as it was sent to Carlisle (opposite side of country to where i am!!)I was notified by email the day it was supposed to arrive. Unclear if this was an Amazon error or a Royal Mail error. The wool holder pockets keep the wool tidy but when working with the yarn through the eyelets they come out of their pockets. This is fine as it falls into the project pocket (which is obviously empty if I'm working) and spins freely there, if I use more than one colour for same project though they get tangled (as you would expect)The shoulder handle clip hinge came out of place as I was attaching it but it was easily fixed and has been fine ever since. The bag is strong, the pockets are useful.I love the colour (red)

Fits so much in it
I like to buy Crochet & knitting magazines, it holds a lot of these and all the wool. There are so many pockets in it I'm more than happy to recommend. I bought the red colour and it is a really nice colour. It's a big bag, the clear pocket on top is very handy, I've still not filled it all yet. The quality is excellent and I can see this lasting me for many years, may not need to buy another one :-)
