Superb and comfortable, hard wairing

One of the nicer designs from Merrell and same great quality. Sadly, I found them slightly too narrow to fit comfortably with insoles and hiking socks so had to return.

The shoe was comfortable, and goretek makes it waterproof which is a basic requirement, as UK is becoming wetter and wetter. Comfort above all else is our motto.

Great product as expected.

The item arrived quickly with basic packaging, box inside plastic bag. The shoe is lightweight with smart colours and this earns its two stars. The laces are poor and difficult to adjust and tie with no top lugs to aid fitting. The fitting itself is on the narrow side limiting the sock thickness to thin or none. The length being adequate. The comfort factor is low with the footbed being spongy and lumpy making uncomfortable even in the house and could not wait to get them off my feet. The heel support is also very uncomfortable and digs in the back of the lower ankle making it basically unwearable for any length of time so obviously poor for the hike or walk.If this is the result of 25 years of production then obviously Merrell are now in the wrong business or need a new design and research and development crew. Older shoes and boots have been far, far better. Can this be another green net-zero failure? Most definitely not for me!

After walking in these every day all summer I've been pleased with the fit and comfort but not impressed with the soles. I fell twice trying to get down a steep cobbled lane in damp conditions - it was like being on ice skates and eventually I had to go a very long way round.They just don't have any grip on wet stone/rocks, which is dangerous when out on cliff paths or rocky hillsides. I have had Merrells in the past and not had this problem so I don't know what has changed with these

Have worn these for many miles trekking city streets on holiday. - first major downpour and my feet and shoes are totally soaked. Shoes will take days to dry out - this was not walking through puddles just coping with heavy rain.

Die Wandernschuhe sind sehr gut verarbeitet, robust, wasserdicht, aber sehr atmungsaktiv (schon getestet). Ich suchte genau leichtere Sommerwandernschuhe, die gut atmungsaktiv sind, beweglich und gleichzeitig robust und fest.Die Säule von Vibran ist wie immer Top und greift sehr angenehm fest. Die Anlagen sind bequem und nicht zu weich, wie bei Salomon, was mir nicht gefällt, weil ich Fahrradfahrenin bin. Die Schuhen brauchen ein bisschen aufweichen durch spazieren gehen, aber danach alles passt perfekt 😊 Klare Kaufempfehlung 👍👍👍P.S. - ich habe keine breite Füße, nicht schmal sondern normal.

En chaussures de sport, je commande toujours une demie pointure au dessus de ma taille habituelle. C parfait et comme d’habitude, les Merrell sont toujours aussi confortables et le plus, pour moi, c la semelle Vibrâmes pour plus d’adhérence.
