Helped balance my conure’s gut
I love my middle aged balding man, but he was plucking due to a skin and gut infection since he like to soak his crunchies in his water. 😑 Other than treating the infection with antibiotics I had to figure out a way to keep his gut healthy. Using this product and diluting apple cider vinegar with the mother in his drinking water helped add more positive bacteria in his gut according to the vet’s poo test.

Good product
This is a great product, I just wish they could add a small spoon to grab just enough for the water bottle instead trying to figure out the right amount.

NON SUGARY BASE PRODUCT
THE ONLY BRAND GIVEN TO BABY BIRDS IN OUR NURSERY BECAUSE DOES NOT CONTAIN SUGAR BASE TO KEEP THE GOOD PATHOGENS WITHIN ALIVE AND BIRDS DO NOT DEVELOP *****OCCASIONAL***** YEAST INFECTIONS SPECIALLY THOSE THAT HAVE A TAXED OR WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM.

Cost effective
My green cheek stays on probiotics year round. This was referred to me. It's an affordable product that seems to be working well. If it keeps my fid healthy then it's a great value for my money...far less expensive than a vet trip, antibiotics and followup. Glad to have this.

No expiration date & directions on product differ than in description on amazon.
I decided on caution to just discard this product because of the following: #1 No expiration date for this item which claims to be a live probiotic. My people version always has a date on it#2 Product said to store in a cool dry place. So I did. Then saw on amazon description it needs to be stored in freezer or fridge. It had not been refrigerated so I tossed it.#3 the product description on how to administer product Greatly differs on the product than what is instructed on the amazon product description.As a first time bird owner you can see why these issues did not instill confidence in this product being safe to use. So I flushed the contents to feed my septic. At least there was that. Lol
