This is a lovely piece of furniture. Good quality, solid, shoe holes could do with being a bit bigger. There were two small gouges on the top which is disappointing but can only be seen in certain lights.

I bought this to declutter my hall, where I needed a presentable item of furniture for shoe storage and for two people to sit while putting on or taking off their shoes. This bench came fully assembled and feels very solid. The finish is smooth and not rustic. Each cubby hole takes one pair of shoes: it swallows ladies' shoes very neatly but mens' shoes tend to stick out a little as they are longer. The dimensions given on the web are accurate. I am delighted with it as the hall looks much tidier.

There was no assembly required on this product. It is a beautiful piece of furniture, very strong and sturdy. Not cheap, but worth the money.

Lots of cracks on one side, I have one already which arrived in good condition. It is sturdy but dissatisfied with the condition.
