I've owned a Conair, Chi, and I-Tech straighter before, but this one is FABULOUS! A lot of research was done before I made the decision to purchase this one, and I feel like it paid off; my previous straightener was 4 years old, so it was about time. I received this new one today before I got home for my lunch break, so I had to go ahead and bust it in ;) There really is no tugging at all on your hair - so smooth, and I was shocked that it truly heats up in 15 seconds, as advertised! It also does something magical to my hair, like it adds more shine like no flat iron has done before. Mind you, my hair is very difficult to deal with. I am a Caucasian, but my hair has always been coarse, wavy, dry and thick! This iron worked beautifully on my hair. 10/10 would recommend! If it doesn't work the same after a few months, I'll be sure to update my review. As of today, I'm very happy! :)UPDATE - Wow, over a year later and I am still loving it! Makes straightening a breeze, and this is some of the best money I've spent. Still happy with this purchase! Don't bother wasting $200 on a Babyliss (or whatever it's called); this gets the job done with no issues!

I needed a new flat iron for my Ethnic hair, so I began combing through pages and pages of them on Amazon. (I’m black, by the way, and for those who go by hair texture, I have a combo of 3C and 4A hair that Loooooves to Loc if you LOOK at it the wrong way!)There were some decent choices, many of which I had seen before, but I wasn’t looking to spend over $50 (though I know you get what you pay for). I came across this one and looked at the price- more than $50. Hmmm....I did, however, LOVE the look of the product. So I decided to head straight to the most important section of the page: the Photo reviews. I was actually shocked to see so many different hair types and textures represented! And the fact that their hair ALL looked amazing made the product look almost too good to be true!I mulled over the price again and decided to bite the bullet. I told my husband I was going to be spending a little more than expected because I HAD to try this product and see if it worked as well as everyone said.From the time I opened the Amazon box and saw the product box itself , I was blown away! The presentation of the product- from the box to the included accessories (hair clips, rat tail comb, heat glove)- was remarkable! The small, but significant details (locking clip, swivel cord, Velcro closure) made this product a huge step above the rest. But as they say, the proof is in the pudding....Trying this hair straightener for the first time made my jaw drop! I literally jumped up and down, then called my husband to come see the beautiful straightening job/curls it had made! I thought I had owned quality straighteners BEFORE, but apparently not!This straightener is the first I’ve ever owned that allowed me to straighten my hair using UNDER 400 degree heat- and still look amazing!!Sleek Design- Doesn’t Pull Hair- Ability to use Less Heat- For what more could I ask?!?You NEED to purchase this straightener!Your will Hair thank you!(You’re welcome)*I also wanted to commend the company’s customer service as well. For your information: I have been looking for 2 in 1 hair straightener that is similar to 'TYME Iron'. So I chose this one since there are many positive review. I'm not getting pay to do this but I would like to share my experience. I have thick hair and some what a little dry since I dye my hair often.My favorites:1. The product is very well design and it came in very nice. It came with 2 hair clips, a hair brush, a glove, and nice pocket bag for the straightener2. It heats up super fast and very HOT!3. I brushed/sprayed my hair with TRESemme heat protection and I split my hair into sections and straighten my hair. The result came out perfect!! It was very smooth and not making weird noises.4. It doesn't make my hair smell weird or anything. It smells like a a smell after you straighten your hair, maybe other costumers have different opinion on this.Dislike:1. I tried to curl my hair using this Straightener. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or what but It doesn't curl very well. It somewhat curl my hair super lose curl JUST LIKE my old regular straightener, but you can tell that my hair look horrible. I recieved a costumer service email from Furiden and they suggested me one of the review of this straightener video on amazon plus gave me another youtube video for tutorial. I have to admit their costumer service is awesome. So I tried again to curl my hair after I watched the vids, the result somewhat came out 'okay' but you can tell that's still not as curl as I expected like the (TYME Iron). If you want a super lose curl (didn't last very long), natural this hair 2 in1 straightener is for you, but if you expected ' only 5-10 mins of curling (actual curling)' like TYME Iron, this might not be the the option for you. Basically what i'm trying to say is what it is doing for curling, any other straightener can do it to. You don't need to pay $60 for it.

Still getting used to using this styling tool. So far it's great! You get 2in1 styling options. Straighten or curls. I cut 6 inches off my length and needed help with new ways to style. Couldn't be happier with my purchase. Iron quality is great. Heats up really quick as well! My hair feels very healthy after styling! Would definitely recommend! Oh and customer service was amazing. They reached out immediately upon purchase with styling tips ect! You can't lose with this purchase!

Needed a simple straightener that I could control the “squeezing force” on for my thick hair… couldn’t be happier with this purchase so far. Also love that you can lock it in the closed position for easier storage.
