Bought two of these as Christmas presents for my daughters, and neither lasted more than six months
I bought two of these for my daughters last Christmas and, while they looked nice and gave good light, six months on and both of them are broken (and yes, I tried replacing the batteries in both before arriving at this conclusion).Considering the price I paid and that these are Philips products, I expected them to last pretty much forever (given that they're just an LED on a circuit with a switch and a battery), but here I am, half a year later, with two broken torches and two disappointed daughters.
