I bought the 35 Litre (the biggest size) a few years ago and I use it to store cat litter.Pros:1. Thanks to the lock, pets can’t get in any more in.2. Pricey storage pet food/cat litter but it looks neat in a kitchen. No mess around anymore.3. Slimline feature. Best design on the market for the moment.4. Hermetic and air tight seal which is helpful to keep the cat litter dry.5. Brushed steel material and easy to clean.6. Internal removable plastic bin/bucket: No need to add a plastic bag.7. Low maintenance and will last for years…Cons: I’m not impressed by the wheels and handle…1. WheelsThe wheels are useless, tiny, ridiculous size.I would prefer true bigger rubber wheels.2. Handle.It looks like a metal handle but actually, it’s an ordinary fragile plastic silver handle…Conclusion: Overall happy but the wheels and handle could be better.

These are a tad expensive but you do get what you pay for as these in my opinion are the best on the market at the moment. They are well made, look good & are airtight. The rubber seal presses against the removable plastic bin insert, and the locking mechanism works well to stop unwanted pets breaking in. I can see if treated a bit rough the lock may break or the wheels may break cos of the hard plastic but this isn't a problem as kept in our utility room.

I have several simplehuman products and love the brand. The delivery was mega fast. There is no doubt this is a great design and I love the magnetic scoop. I have the XL size pet food bin.Unfortunately it is let down by the wheels.Although they spin freely when lifted they do not work when on the floor no matter how you tilt it, they also seem very flimsy compared to the rest of the pet food bin.As I have the XL size this is essential to move it around. I see from the reviews on here and also the superhuman website that this is a common occurrence and no suggestions found on there by simplehumanhelped.If you don’t need to move it around this won’t be a problem.Also there was a small dent in the side. I feel this wouldn’t have happened if the sides were stronger and it was packaged better. The box it came in wasn’t very strong at all and did not protect against dents.I have decided to keep it as I couldn’t be sure that a replacement would be any better.If the wheel issue was fixed and also the outer sides of the superhuman pet food bin made stronger this would be perfect. (Packaging also needs to be stronger)

It's expensive but it's a very well made product and works as it's supposed to. Looks nice, keeps the food fresh and the build quality is as good as it gets.

The xl size is a little too small, only 5l larger than the l. Had hoped it would hold 2x12kg dog food. In reality it holds little less than 18kg meaning u have about 6kg to sort elsewhere. build quality is excellent wheels r ok on hard floors. If u r only buying single bags go for the large it’ll fit in more places.

I umm'd and ahh'd about this product because of the price. But went for it and I am happy I did. Fits a full 14kg bag of food for my adult dog. The finish is great, it's sturdy and there's no smell of dog food anymore. Very happy

Very expensive, I know ... but sometimes the extra quality you get is well worth it. I'd recently read about the oxidisation / nutritional deterioration of pet kibble that's not kept in airtight containers. I wasn't keen on paying over the odds by switching to the smaller bags - preferring the price per kilo of the 12 / 15kg bags. I'm also about to take delivery of a 'teenage' dog (5 1/2 months old) ... so I figured that food security in both meanings of the phrase was called for. I'm satisfied that this food bin will keep the food protected from both the air and an inquisitive pup. Oh, and it looks great ... but you knew that from the photo :)

Expensive, but well worth the money after having countless plastic rubbish. Well designed. good seal so feed stays fresh. Dogs can't get into it...very important!... It just works, & looks good...we are very pleased.

When first looking at the price of these containers I thought they were so expensive. I do love simplehuman trash cans however and was needing a container to keep dog food and birdseed in that I could put on the back porch and feel they would be critter proof. Those raccoons are pretty clever. When I got the containers they are so pretty I decided to just keep them handy in the kitchen. They take up very little space and are attractive enough to be inside. The wheels on the back make them easy to move and the scoop included inside is a extra bonus. They can easily be kept outside on my covered back porch if in the future I decide to move them because I do feel like they would be critter proof. They seal securely.simplehuman products last a long time so considering I do think they are well worth the cost.

Der Artikel ist alles andere als günstig- und dennoch bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf.Ich habe im laufe der Jahre schon einige futtertonnen gekauft und immer bin ich unzufrieden gewesen.Das ist bei diesem Artikel ganz anders.Super edles Design und sehr hochwertig verarbeitet .Praktisch ist es auch durch die Rollen , und die dosierhilfe .Schließt absolut dicht , keine Gerüche wahrnehmbar-mein Hund zeigt keine Interesse an die Tonne.Steht bei uns in der Küche,bei diesem Design-kein Problem.Dazu sehr pflegeleicht.Passen 12 Kilo trocken Futter rein, und es ist noch nicht randvoll.Trotz des hohes Preises-wurde ich es weiterempfehlen.
