Amazon Essentials Cream Colored Simulated Pearl Strand Necklace

These pearls are even more lovely than I expected. They have a luminous, slightly pinkish glow and look real enough for me. They are weighty and substantial. The 60-inch length is perfect for either wearing as a long loose necklace or doubling up into two strands. The one issue is that there was a bad knot between two pearls--right at the very bottom of the necklace opposite the clasp--which put a noticeable kink in the necklace. I have pulled on the knot (gently) to get the kink to lay flat. It's better, but only about 80% flat now. The kink probably won't be noticeable to anyone else now, but I know it's there. Doubling the strand will hide the defect. Wearing it loose makes the kink stand out in the worst possible spot. I still like the necklace and will keep it, as it looks like these are hard to get (currently unavailable) and, again, I think I fixed the defect enough so that probably nobody else will notice. I'll still get a ton of use of out this necklace. Due to the unfortunate kink and poor quality control, four stars.

These are so nice for the price! Where many look like cheap mardi-gras beads at this price, these look much closer to pearls. I measured mine, length came in at 59 inches which is very close to the list length. I was honestly kind of hoping they'd be shorter than list length.48 would have been perfect for single length with a knot flapper style. These are perfect for wearing as 2 layers.I really hoped to wear them with a flapper costume, but all the others in this price range had kind of poor reviews as looking very plastic. If this exact company could just make a slightly shorter length, I would be overjoyed!They came in a nice gift box, but then in a ziplock bag which kind of ruins the impact of the cute box and seems unneccesary. No big deal for me, but I thought I'd note it's slightly odd.

I bought these pearls for a photo shoot for my one year old. They look more expensive than they were which is great! I was able to wrap them around her neck 2x and they were still long. We will use them as a dress up prop and they definitely serve that purpose well.

This is so pretty, and such a great value! I wear these for a night out with my guy with a really short velour baby doll dress and Mary Janes (Why yes, I am fascinated with flapper culture, why do you ask?), and I get tons of compliments. I wore them in layers to dress them up with a gown I wore to a symphony recently and that outfit hit it out of the park! They also look great with a cardigan or layered in with a fall mess of cami, plunging neckline top layered under a dressy jacked,Love, love these and wear them all the time dressed up and down.

For the price and length, it's not too bad. The "pearls" are actually quite good looking, but I was a bit disappointed with the construction of the necklace. Between the beads is visible string, and in one's hands, it feels somewhat cheap, not unlike a set of Mardi Gras beads. The latch is therefore quite amusing - it's the only metal on the strand, and it seems out of place considering the relatively cheap quality of the rest of the necklace. Overall, it's good enough for a party, but don't expect to impress anyone. If you want something that looks more real, pay more for lower-quality, real, if cheap, pearls.

I'm currently watching Jackie Kennedy Behind Closed Doors and I kid you not my $7.99 pearls rival those I'm seeing her wearing. I put the pearls on and I felt cultured and sexy. I've had costume pearls before and liked them these are a cut above I am overjoyed.I was reading the reviews again and I'm confused. It has been mentioned several time that the clasp was cheap the necklace in this review does not have a clasp. It not lite it has some weight. I sometimes knot my pearls that's way I bought this length and wanted a cheap pair that I didn't mind if I broke. These pearls held up well when knotted. I'm considering ordering me two more pair the look and feel is exceptional.

I bought these for a 1920's themed holiday party. I wanted something relatively cheap without it looking too fake, and these have exceeded my expectations. I haven't worn them yet and can't speak on sturdiness (yet), but they will look absolutely stunning with my dress. The strand is very long and will be perfect to tie in a knot for the signature 20's look. The necklace comes with a felt storage bag that I wasn't expecting, which was a really nice touch. I had no intention of using these for anything other than my 20's costume, but they are nice enough to wear to any dressy event. Very pleased!

Got these to wear to a formal event where period costume was required. Didn't want to spend a lot, knowing I wouldn't be wearing them often, but I also didn't want cheap "halloween costume" type beads. After reading other reviews I took a chance on these. They looked great with my circa 1912 style gown. They certainly look like more expensive beads, a jeweler friend of mine was quite impressed and surprised by the quality after I told her how much they cost. They arrived in great condition packaged in a nice cloth bag.

Beautiful, long strand of simulated pearls I bought to replace an older strand that I finally broke after many years. It was difficult to find a replacement strand that was long enough to wear looped around my neck a few times, or left long and knotted for an alternate look. This strand is perfect! Classy looking and priced right!
