So far it has been great!

These stone bath mats generally come in gray tones but I was so pleased to find this marbled design on white which matches our bathroom’s tile pattern (plus, anything gray makes me sad…). It does show a little dirt but you can fix it with sanding. We love how it leaves NO moisture whatsoever on the sole of your feet - a great product.

I loved the look of this mat and was super excited to no longer have a fuzzy rug that always started to feel gross after multiple uses. I read the instructions and was aware that it could stain easily. So when my monthly friend showed up, I was prepared and put a folded towel on top of the stone mat to prevent it from getting stained. Sadly, the water must have penetrated the towel and still managed to stain the stone slightly. So if you too partake in shark week, I would advise just moving the stone and not using it if you don't want to risk staining it. Other than that, it dries quickly and I love the look and feel of it!

Really like this product however I use it for my dogs food and water bowls instead of the shower.

honestly, I am giving this a 2 star rating for the obvious reason that this is way too overpriced (or maybe I am just uneducated on why this is the price it is because there must be a good reason, right?) I mean sure, it's cool...I guess...I am usually a fan of stepping onto something a bit softer and easier on the feet when I am getting out of the shower so if you are the same way I definitely wouldn't suggest buying this! I suppose if I fully understood the whole "appeal" and/or "nostalgia" of these mats then maybe I wouldn't mind the cost as much, idk? so maybe someone can enlighten me? and yes, of course I read the FAQ about them and their actual purpose and all that jazz, still doesn't justify the cost for me!!! When I was unboxing this I had an extremely difficult time with it for a couple reasons, one of which is entirely a personal and odd reason of my dislike of styrofoam and the way it feels and this thing was layered in styrofoam lol the other thing I wasn't a huge fan of was it had an off odor of some sort coming off of it once it was fully free from it's packaging. I am guessing really that the whole appeal of using these as bath mats and what not is more of fad thing these days, so I guess if you are a strong believer in staying "hip" and want to keep up with todays current fads n such AND don't mind breaking the bank for a rock solid, sorta smelly bath mat then this is the perfect item for you!!!
