We used these to make Father’s Day cards at church. They were way to decorate and stand up.

These frames were great quality. They were easy to paint and did not splinter. The backs were extremely easy to take off to insert a 4x6 photo and the stand that holds up the frame was very sturdy. With added embellishments they make amazing gifts. I used these as Christmas gifts for my students to give their parents, but they are great for any occasion. Will definitely purchase again!

How I prepare these: sand lightly with 400 grade sand paper, put 3 coats of clear gesso (letting 1/2 hour go by between coats) and sand after each coat with 800 grade sandpaper. This helps you not waste paint soaking into the surface and provides a wonderful smooth surface to paint on. After finishing painting I spray a clear gloss acrylic fixative while wearing a vapor mask. This process professionalizes the work enough for a good sale price and provides a way to permanently seal the pieces.

I purchased these frames to do a Valentines craft in my sons classroom. They were able to decorate the whole frame with paint, and also stickers were able to attach to the frames. They came out amazing once I put the kiddos pictures in!

You can buy wood frames at Michael’s, but the quality is subpar to these. They are SO nice that I ordered another set. You won’t be disappointed with these frames.

These feel more like something for kids to decorate. I was thinking of using them with a laser engraver and make some nice designs, but the more I looked at them, the less I felt that it was worth it.They aren't bad, just sort of... simplistic, maybe? I don't know.I'll probably donate them to a school. This pack of wooden photo frames is excellent for kids' art projects. The wood is sanded smooth and ready for decoupage or painting. Pricing wise, these are cheaper per frame than you'd pay at the local Dollar Tree-type store. Definitely a great option for a classroom project, birthday or scout activity.
