The media could not be loaded. I wasn't sure what to think since there weren't many reviews and they were kind of mixed but I went for it anyway, and I'm glad I did. I broke down my tank and decided start from scratch & do an aquascape, and this waterfall looks so nice in the aquarium! I added some java moss and rock around it, and raised it up a little bit with gravel and stone. Granted, today is the first day of use so I hope it stands the test of time. The picture was taken right after putting water in the tank and starting the filter so it's a bit cloudy. If you're on the fence about buying it, don't hesitate, go for it!UPDATE: I've had the watefall running continuously for about a month and no issues whatsoever!

I followed all instructions, it worked for a day and was really neat. Now it just kind of swirls the sand in the bottom, no matter what I do to try and fix the issues, it just won’t work.So now instead of a cool sand fountain, I just have an expensive decoration.

Really easy set up...remove from package..wash both sand and waterfall "rock" piece...place in tank...add sand..plug in pump (set to max)...sit back and enjoy..This is a really nice looking waterfall effect...very relaxing and mesmerizing..I love it!!This is in a 10gal tank...I will add a few glow fish and a few fancy tail male guppies to finish off..there us a Beta in there..he likes it..he was laying Uber the waterfall fir a bit..I was afraid it wld tear his fins tho...but the fish so far seem to enjoy it...but I enjoy more!!I am very happy with this purchase and to think after reading some reviews I was afraid it may not work...it works great!!

The media could not be loaded. Loved the waterfall. It’s was beautiful. I would recommend for tanks with just fish. If you have snails in your tank I do not recommend. I lost two snails in two days because they got sucked into the pump. But otherwise would totally recommend and will end up using in another tank build.

This is a working sandfall but the sand falls slowly. The intake for the sand is just a hole in the tubing below the sand. So the sand can tend to blow out over time. I added a reducer inside the line to create a venturi and now its operating great. Adding a cheap plastic reducer in the line from the factory would make this a 5 star item.

The media could not be loaded. Pros -- looks very cool and different from your usual aquarium decorations--works well. Cons --short power cord-- and it would be nice if the whole waterfall was larger ---after a week I found that dabree in my tank would clog or slow pump flow causing it to stop. If this happens-- after cleaning pump intake. put your finger in the sand intake hole causing the pump pressure to clear the clog.

It’s a nice looking decoration and worked great for about a month. Then the waterfall part stopped. Pump still works but it blows the sand up out of the basin instead of sucking it up and into the waterfall. I’ve taken it out, cleaned everything, added more of the sand and it still won’t do the waterfall for more than 5-10 minutes. Also be careful if it does stop working. I left mine in the tank since it looks nice and one of my loaches went up into it and never came back out. I think it got stuck
